Middlesbrough Reach UEFA Cup Final

Congratualations to Middlesbrough for their 2nd great escape in a month and their superb achievement in reaching the final of the UEFA Cup tonight.

 

Bloody hell, they certainly don't do things the easy way do they? 3-0 down on aggregate and coming back to win 4-3 - amazing.

 

I will certainly be cheering them on as an English club in Europe and hope they can bring a European trophy back to these shores, especially as Arsenal are not going to do so as all joking apart, can you really see them being good enough to beat Barcelona? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Football’s a funny game. A manager can be looking at just one game where he will face the sack but turn it around. From those I know of it’s been Ferguson, Pardew and probably a lot more others.

 

The ST throwing incident seemed to be a kick start for all their recent success and they went on to best Chelsea 3-0 in the next game. Bet that guy and a lot of others was glad he done it.

 

God knows where they got their energy from and they played most of the second half with just two at the back, but they were able to mop up.
