Mate, I'll show you them on Thursday night if you're down the club. If not I'll put them on here tomorrow.

Just thought I'd point out, there was also a 4-3 home win over Thurrock on the opening day of the 03/04 season. I mention this because I said it was one of my favourite memories in another thread, but someone 'corrected' me and said that I meant the Dover game (four or five matches later). Having just looked through my old programmes, I know that I was right! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Though I was at both games, the Thurrock one is more memorable for me because it was the game that kept me coming back.

Another great memory was Chesham away opening day of the 2001-02 season. This was my 1st full season watching Canvey and I was determined to do as many games both home and away as I could(think I did 34 out of 42). We went 1-0 down affter 20 minutes and it was just coming up to 40 minutes of the game. I was thinking this is poor Canvey are not as good as I thought)we then scored 5 goals in 15 minutes either side of half time and won 5-1 I was totally hooked after that game.

Great memories hopefully many more to come.

I think the one that REALLY sticks in my head has got to be Chester City away in the Trophy semis.

That was probably the most anxious journey I've made to a match. The game itself was a thriller, Wardy hitting the foot of his own post and the night out afterwards was an excellent end to the day!
