damn, might have to work that night!

...one thing, any chance of updating the website. The penpix & match results are a bit behind. Also, why don't we have Terry's manager notes from the programme available on the website. The website feels a bit distant from the action.

I know you're busy, but I'm sure these thing's would be beneficial for the fans...

I made a valid point, as everyone who looks at the EFC postings will have noticed. You lot rave, rant, are critical even when things go well. You can't spell or put sentences together and its obvious none of you actually know what is involved in playing on a football pitch. Your comments are laughable to people who visit these pages. Whenever somebody comes along and challenges anything you three post you reply with foul language and abuse ( except Robsy ). Lover boy its you that needs to grow up. No wonder hardly anyone else makes any postings because they can't be bothered to reply to your senseless nonsense.

Vaild point maybe but to be fair as us three are the only one's who go to the game's AND have internet ready computers at home or work(that we know of and I have only just found out a few game's ago who robsy is) we are the one's who post on here for ourself's and other's!!! Before you say that I rant and rave I think you need to read my post's, as the last few say "we need point's come on lad's" rant or rave? I think not "why do we play Demba out on the wing instead of Armstrong"? rant or rave? I think not. In some of the other post I have said some of the player's are "better than this league" but "need to show it" rant or rave? NO complament and A gee up!!
As for the spelling and sentences, well sorry DAD but I cant help that im dyslexic so do you find it funny to take the piss out me? If you do then I really wood like to meat you on saturday and have a chat! as for not knowing what is needed on a football pitch I will say this, Grit, determination, skill, passing and 110% wanting to play for the shirt you play in, are all you need to know on the pitch for me if you can not do that on the pitch then you shouldn't be on it at all! and at the moment some of our players are not giveing that.
If you are on about me ranting and raveing about the tackle made by "doc's" at Kingsbury, then I feel that is very very valid point indeed. Where you their? did you see it?
If I rant and rave it's because I love this club, and I hate to see it like is and when SOME of the player's not giveing their all to help keep us up. I know Terry does read this that's why I put it up on here as I cant alway's stay after a game and wait for him to have a CIVAL talk!
I'm not going to say sorry for loveing this club and speaking out about what I belive in!

er, right.

I think it's a bit rich to say that I'm critical even when thing's are going well. I think if you look back through the postings you'll see that most of mine are either asking questons about new players or trying whip up some enthusiasm for the weekend.

The fact that my last posting re: the borehamwood game was critical was maybe down to the team's performance rather than my own desire just to bitch. As I said, I paid my entry fee and expected a better performance - how can you argue with that, did you go to the game!?! I also think most of the points were valid. I didn't just criticise, I actually posed a couple of questions (why isn't Demba given a chance upfront & who can partner Armstrong in the future.) Isn't the fans forum meant to do just this, let fans talk about the game/club/player/tactics - that is unless you just want to use it to swap cooking recipes?

As for not knowing anything about football, well to be honest I could question what you know about it, or what Terry knows about it or even what Sven knows about it. I think it's a pretty subjective game and just 'cos you don't agree with what's said, that doesn't make it wrong. Especially when I don't see you coming on with any pearls of wisdom.

Will you be at the Bedford game then?

Robsey.. Robert is still ranting!
I think You're partly right, Demba is the best striker at EFC and he could do with a bit more service. Armstrong is highly rated and he does well but there have been times when he's held on to the ball too long when a simple pass to his team mates could have set them up for a shot. I don't agree with others saying Demba should play on the wing with Paul in the centre, I think it should be the other way round because Paul can run at defenders with the ball and has a decieving shot from the angle.

Robert.. It may be commendable to love the club, but what makes you think that Terry would take a blind bit of notice about what you have to say? You've never been happy with him there and you can't wait to show him the door as you kept reffering to his 10 game promise, and if you're right , which by the way you are not , about players commitment to EFC, a new person in charge would make no difference. From what I can see the players play for Terry and don't like letting anyone down.
At Kingsbury their team were very physical and spent the whole game trying to kick our young players off the park. Sometimes a team like that brings you down to their level and it is impossible to avoid it and it leads to frustrations, which inevitably effects the football itself.

There is no point looking for scapegoats when results don't go EFC's way. Players like Stanley have been plucked from their game and dropped in the deep end at a much higher level and they will find it difficult against more experienced and stronger players, but for the future of the club they have to gain experience by playing. Give them all a chance and who knows what the future may hold.

I will leave it at this. Ihave only ever made one ref to Terry leaveing was i think he should have IF we didnt get at lest 6/7 point's and that was when we had the four game run of 10 point's from 12, So I said good one fair play well done! As for stanley when have I had a pop at him? Kingsbury dont matter anymore. why am I ranting as well? I answerd you post back am I not aloud to do that then? as I have said i'm going to leave it now as I suspect that you are involved with the club and dont have the ball's to say who you are you. bye case closed I wont reply anymore to this thred

My remarks regarding Stanley & Chris Beard are not purely just trying to find a scapegoat. I don't think either of them - on the few performances I've seen recently - are good enough to keep us up. I understand what you mean about blooding the youngsters and giving them experience, but we have to stay up as well. I guess what I'm suggesting is that we need to buy a forward - unless we want to be in the thick of a dogfight at the end of the season. Fine, let Stanley gain his experience coming on as a sub every now and again and maybe in years to come you'll be proved correct. But for the sake of this season we need a regular scorer.

When you think back to Tom's team, with James Bunn & George Georgiou, either of them could do a job for us today - NOT THAT I'M SUGGESTING WE GET THEM BACK! Terry & co. have obviously got some good contacts, we must be able to get someone in.

Look, I think Terry is a better manager than Tom and I hope he's given enough time to build a decent squad. He's certainly brought in some class players this season in the form of Daniel Braithwaite, Demba & Perez. I think he's got potential to become a good manager for the club, he's certainly instilled the right attitude (forgetting from the borehamwood game), but if we're gonna stay up we need at least one good forward (and there's an arguement to say another midfielder!)

Anyway...

Judging by what you've just written maybe you should make going to the fans forum a priority, and see what Terry has to say.

Watch out Independent! If Robert don't know you, then you MUST be involved with the club!
And of course don't forget, supporters have no involvement in THEIR club!!
Do I sense a "them and us" mentality here with the team/ management or is it just with Laz.

Sorry Robert but you're going to have to reply.
