my school (castle view) said it would love to help the club and would like to get involved in things for the pupils to do, like players into the school etc.

one idea i did have was as a reward for pupils that make a good acheivement, such as getting into the district sports or getting a high score in the UK Maths Challenge etc., was too give them a free family pass to watch a game. they may then go to a match and enjoy it and come back for more! my idea of a family pass instead of the usual 2 adults, 2 children, how about 1 adult, 2 children? this would mean they could take a friend instead of an adult who doesnt like football.

what do you think? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If you have a family ticket with 2 adults and 2 children, the ticket does not say that they all have to be related or of the same gender. You could get a Father, taking his son, his mate, and his mate's son.

Either that or you make a family ticket 2 adults and 4 children. That way, the above works plus the young ones get to bring a mate each.

I think the idea of targeting kids is something the club should have done along time before this season. This season i know the club gave out tickets to people in my school (cornelius) and also castle view.My school were given 150 tickets and i know for a fact tat they were all given put sometimes kids were going to see techers asking for tickets but when it came to the match itself only about 20 people for my school turned up and 5 of those are people who mormally come. I think we have to reach out to kids and say were not man u or chelsea but we are your local club our players arn't on 60,000 a week but there is still good football being played, Even though we are dropping down leagues we still need to give out tickets and the family ticket is a great idea.
