i think that a fair few can more than hold there own, 4 or 5 have been at pro clubs and we have last season england school boy internationl goalkeeper in the squad ricky wiseman, thats if he stays, im sure he will along with leon jay currun great goal scores (jay will be the next lee) steve and lee on the wings both better the clark and have a good back line to, we still need few more players tho

Decent trip to Ramsgate? Dover, AFC Wimbledon, Burgess Hill have all had problems there last season. A few people have been injured so be on your guard when you go there ! We will probably get them on Boxing Day. Oh Joy

Has anyone seen the stuff on footballconference. co.uk?
Says about a trust and a trust spokesmen of Ant Weller (not Kevin Rye).
Is this just old news and they've got the names muddled or what.

They've got it muddled, they're referring to Crawley.

AFC Wimbledon and Cirencester fans had trouble. Against Cirencester a 6.6-foot oath walked up to the Ramsgate fans and said "who shall i knock out first". One bloke walked up to him and smashed him in the nose. As for the Wombles game, l can not make excuses for the actions but they where NOT fans and have been subsequently banned.

Have a good season Canvery and PLEASE take six points off the scum

Reading the Conf. South message board it appears that Carshalton are going to appeal against Leigh RMI's reprieve, stating that they (Carshalton) should've been the team to be reprieved via points instead of geography.

I've just realised they've moved this forum so it's under the Ryman League.

Don't despair too much-we've fallen from grace like yourselves, but am quite happy to be having our second season in Ryman.

Its a pretty tough league, and whilst miles apart from Conference standard, the top 12 teams or so are as good as any in conference south ,and football quality is just as good as conference south.

I don't want to appear to be a snob - but can't we split the Ryman forum?

Ryman Premier and "others who aren't quite as good......"

They were split beforehand but the traffic on them was rather poor.

The Conference/North/South forums have been merged too.

I never go into the forum's for the leagues. Apart from the fact no-one ever posts, I don't see the point when I only really want to discuss Canvey.
