the BBC site says we will be in the premier. but both the BBC and the Echo make mistakes far to often. i would trust the official Ryman site that says we are premier

I'm hoping that you stay in the Ryman Premier, as I know we would struggle in there if we were to get a reprieve because you've dropped into Ryman 1 North.

Us being in Ryman 1 North would be much better for us financially.

If that were to happen, that would give a reprieve to Hendon. Carshalton are already appealing against Leigh RMI's reprieve. If the FA says that those league standings are final, I'll go with that.

I do not believe your league placement is set in stone as yet.
The conference meet to discuss your resignation this week and will then make recommendations to the FA.

Standard procedure is this case, at least to a few years ago, was that in these situations clubs drop 3 tiers. I was told this by someone at director level in the FA.

it doesn’t really make sense, someone said that Worthing is our furthest trip in Ryman premier which is about 90 miles away, and in Ryman North we would have to travel to Bury St Edmonds which is about 85 miles away, and in general the travel is similar. as we are using most of the reserve squad and only a few extra players in either league the wages bill wont make a difference, but dropping to Ryman 1 means we couldn’t charge as much for sponsorship and would get less through the gate at a lower admission price. unless i am missing out on anything (please tell me if i am) we would in fact be worse off in the Ryman 1

Clubs that go bust, i.e. Hornchurch, Telford drop three tiers.

Clubs that voluntarily resign are a lottery i.e. Margate only dropped one level when they had ground issues.

Just as I was getting used to the idea of playing big games against AFC WImbledon, Chelmsford & the Chockers it looks like its not going to happen after all.
The only good thing is we might be able to compete better in the Ryman North and hopefully win promotion where as in the Premier I could only see us struggle.

So can someone official tell us what is going on because this thread still doesn't make things clear.

Are we competing in the Ryman Premier or Division 1 North next season?

Is it just a rumour or is it definately gonna happen?

Like I've said before, the Echo are always jumping the gun, (who remembers them announcing we'd 'signed' Shane Wardly?) But to quote a Club Director, might just mean there is something in it.

...I'll wait till it's on our Official site... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />
