Oh dear, well we did warn them!!!! I think Stimson is capable of managing a league club and it will be intersting to see how he does.

The last few weeks have been rather busy and controversial in Essex non league soccer. Kingy going to Chelmsford obviously but then there was the Hornchurch manager surprisingly resigning and now Stimmo.

Whatever next?

It's all got rather nasty over on their forum.

There`s an interview with Stimson on the Thurrock Gazette website

The 37-year-old maintains he has not had concrete offers from any other clubs but he has been heavily linked to League Two side Milton Keynes Dons who split with their manager Danny Wilson last week.

Think Andy Ford could be in with a shout of going there, (if he's not offered the Stevenage job as he's rumoured to be on the interview list this week).

Apparently Stimmo is being linked with Millwall now. He'll feel at home there!!!!

Stevenage has got be a good shout. They're forever around the play-offs in the Conference - they just need the right manager to give them the push into the football league.

Whether it's Stimson or not is another matter, though.

Colchester sounds a good shout for him.

Agree smallsy and i think Grays will finish mid table next season.

Done a great job at Grays though.

Sorry but HAS he done a great job or did he have money to change things whenever he wanted?

I think he has done what any manager could have done with financial backing.

I couldn't care less anyway. Grays wont ever go up and for the love of god SHOULDN'T either.

Wait till he turns up at Stevenage and takes players like Nutter and Bayes. Then the fans of Grays will know what it feels like.

Bit of a turn up for the books to say the least! He's obviously a very ambitious, and has never let loyalty stand in his way of personal achievement.
