What a positive meeting!!!

I thought it was a good meeting that enabled people to get a few things straight, the important things for me were the bits where facts were properly explained.

A few facts from tonight

Jeff did not force us down from Ryman Prem.

Jeff has been extremly generous, and is continueing to be so.

The new management team are not getting a single penny from the club.

Our manager is a really a nice down to earth chap, who is not getting a wage either.

A few old faces wil be around on the playing field next year.

These meetings are very important as they give us the chance to ask a few questions and clear the air.

I hope they are maintained and thank all those involved for their efforts.

On a slightly negative note, last night I made some comments on here regarding Classic Gold Breeze decision to move to ricay.

I stand by those comments although negative they were not threatening (and only mildly insulting) but my honest opinion.

I am not sure if there were any more posts after me because it looks like the thread was wiped, if there were and they were aggresive or threatening then I disasociate myself from them.

Keith made comment on David being upset and said the posters were not CIFC supporters.

David said in his post that it was "his" decision to move to ricay and my comments were based on him saying that. I am a true supporter and stand by my comments and always will.

David made a commercial decision for commercial reasons, my response was that of a fan made straight from my heart.

Very interesting, I hope that's taken to mean some former players will be returning rather than us recruiting some old biddies!

I tried to get an answer from John on this, I think he is rightly protecting our interests by playing his cards close to his chest.

He will not give a clue, as other clubs would like to sign them and we do not want to get gazumped!!

It sounds good though.

Now i realy cant wait for next season we have a very passionate manager something i think we lacked last season.Everyone wants the club to move forward and also the supporters should know alot more about the club. It was nice to hear from the board itself that knig is giving us the lease and that he will pay the bills and get the pitch ready for next season. It was good of him to do this for the club.

In English please?

I have a few ideas on who we might ask to bring back as well, but I don't think it'll be anyone that's played for us and since departed during our Conference seasons.

I know full well Wayne Vaughan's capabilities from when he was with us previously before heading to Thurrock and then Grays.

He was our top scorer in his first season with us and scored some very important goals.

I think I'll leave it at that

He could of been a league player in my opinion he scored the best ever canvey goal away at port vale but had some people around him giving him bad advice

I've heard a few rumours surrounding Barking so wouldn't be surprised if Vaughan did return to us.

Can't really say. It's probably just a rumour so if it's wrong it could be rather embarrassing for everyone involved.

Would love to see Ashley Harrison comeback. Its really hurt seeing long term players like Boylan, Greggors, JK, Chennery and almost certainly Wardy, it would be great to see one of the Originals comeback.

How about Andy Jones coming back? he was there from the Essex Senior Days, not sure where he is playing now. I know there has always been this 'thief' tag over him since he left Canvey but there never seemed to be any proof.

Andy Jones must be in his mid to late 30s now surely
