So lets see what's going on elsewhere...

Altrincham will find out the outcome of their appeal against their 18 point deduction today.

So much for Mark Stimson going to Millwall, as Nigel Spackman is appointed their new boss - Stimson still remains a favourite contender for Peterborough though.

Margate have transfer listed Bertie Brayley as Manager Robin Trott has claimed he no longer features in his plans.

Waltham Forest Manager Hakan Hayrettin has resigned and taken up the vacant post at Thurrock.

Both Grays and Stevenage are set to announce their new Managers very shortly, possibly within the next couple of days.

I think Stimson to Stevenage would seem likely, (he can hook up with Miller again) although their local press keep running stories focusing on Brian Talbot.

'The Star' if anyone is willing to believe it, is quoted with saying that should Andy King be given the Grays job, Steve Sedgewick will be the number 2.

I would also not be surprised to see Andy Ford and Colin McBride turn up somewhere soon too. I wonder if they applied for the Hornchurch job?

Yeah, that rumour seems to have died down a bit now, seeing as Parkinson as of yet, doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

The outcome of Altrincham should be revealed soon.

Altrincham's appeal has failed. Their 18 point deduction and 1000 pound fine stands.

Barring some major Scarborough balls up at the end of the month, they're relegated.

Just JK and Dom so far, (although Dom's still hasn't officially been confirmed).

The Chelmsford lot will be announced as soon as their Ryman registrations are completed apparently, which could take a couple of weeks! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I expect most of the players are currently on holiday.

Would anyone fancy Brayley coming back ? Thought he put a few good games in for us a couple of seasons back and maybe Ryman 1 could be his level, any thoughts guys ?

Like Wayne Vaughan I always felt he was mis-guided and sometimes too selfish for his own good. Perhaps this is his natural level and he could still do a good job.

However I find it interesting to note that he's been a 10 different clubs since leaving us and reportedly on big-ish bucks at most of them.

They're discussing the same thing on the Hornchurch forum...

Grays' new Manager is expected to be announced today.

This Press Release was issued by Farnborough Town this morning:

Farnborough Town manager Frank Gray has resigned and looks set to be appointed as the new manager of Grays Athletic.

The FA Trophy winners have been without a boss since they parted company with Mark Stimson earlier this month, and now appear to be looking to Town boss Gray to secure next season their dream of league football.

A press release issued on the Farnborough messageboard reads as follows:

"The Board of Farnborough Town Football & Social Club Limited announce that with immediate effect, First Team Manager Frank Gray has left the Club.

The Club learnt yesterday afternoon that Grays Athletic Football Club wanted to speak to Frank and it later transpired that Frank had been offered the role of First Team Manager. It is also believed that Gerry Murphy and Steve Snelling are also expected to leave their current roles to join Frank at Grays.

The Board are very disappointed to lose Frank in these circumstances but respect the opportunity that has been offered to him. The Board would like to thank Frank and his team for all their efforts since their arrival at the Club and will start the recruitment process with immediate effect.

Frank wants it to be put on record that it was a very hard decision to make to leave the Club especially with all the progress that has been made over the past season and would like to offer his sincere thanks to all supporters, backroom staff and players for an enjoyable tenure at the Club. He also added that he wishes Farnborough Town Football Club every success in the future."
