The 4 that have signed for Chelmsford so far must have to take pay cuts to play for them. I can't believe Chelmsford can match their Conference wages seeing as Jeff is supposed to be there as a manager only(something I find hard to believe)

Heartbreaking seeing all these players leave, like losing part of the family, but best wishes to them

Make that 5 Canvey players to sign for Chelmsford!

Richard McKinney too!

Now are they getting Jay Conroy mixed up with Jason Hallett? I hope not!

Just noticed that myself Matt.

To be very honest McKinney wasn't a firm favourite of mine. Good shot stopper but didn't command his area as well as Danny and did make the odd mistake. He seemed to suffer from a touch of nerves.

Good luck to him and he'll probably be more than capable at Ryman Prem level.

It's easy to get Jason And Jay confused - they are both young, talented, got their chance at Canvey and both their names begin with J

I also notice on the Chelmo forum that a "Meet the Players & Management" evening is being arranged. You would never have got that at Canvey, but I reckon we probably could now.

Not the Steve Ward who played for Grays about ten years ago, and scored a blinding og in Romford's famous 4-3 FA Cup win over said team?

We seem to be doing OK now. Was hard at first but the future is looking a lot brighter now.

She picked the worst possible game to make a visit to Canvey I see. That Crawley game was truly dreadful!!

Oh it was!!! Dom Sterling's goal was about the only real moment from that game. Seem to remember it was also rather windy that day!!!

Not this season I expect. JK got sent off in that Altrincham game I believe and Mario scored a stunning goal.
