I have paid £5.40 for two Stella in The Owl & Pussy Cat.

 

I believe it is now £4.70 for 20 Benson.

 

How the hell can Canvey be expensive?

 

 

People on the Island are paying more than that from the Island to Sarfend to watch them!

You can't relate it to those attractions.

If you went and asked ten members of the public, eight would say that we're expensive. I'm sure of it. Christ, I think we are and I pay it. So does my mate.

Fans want to see players care about their club and all they really ask is to see someone give 100% effort to the cause.

yes venom i do. but its not being made public till after the weekend i think. both i and the teams manager have been away. obviously not to the same place haha

i am not an expert on canvey but i would of thought you would still average around 350-400,if the locals can see the hard work people are putting in then they are likely to support it,plus the admission prices will be less,which can attract a few more people over

i would of thought we would bring down 300-350 depending on time of year and how important the game is at the time,we took about 600 to the league cup final at grays,in fact the crowd was 700+ and most were urchins but it looked more like a thousand in the ground.Also most clubs will bring more away fans down to the likes of canvey and hornchurch because they are bigger names than most in that league

About the attendances... i will bet money on the fact we get 250-350 every game. There may be the odd bad attendance like home on a wet and windy cold Tuesday night but i remember the old days when we had a good attendance and this season will be no different, especially with the interest the club has acheived over the last few years.

 

All these doubters on here saying otherwise have no idea what it was like years ago when we had fairly good attendances. Trust me boys, i'm right on this one and we will get good crowds, especially if we are doing well.

As for Crowds, I've spoken to a couple of people I know that will be more regular down Park Lane next season. Like me they might not be 100%-ers due to other commitments but they've praised the reduce in admission costs and one was even quoted as saying it'll be a better standard of football!

 

I reckon we'll enjoy it more, even if on the pitch we lose a few it should be expected with the young squad stepping up to the plate. But overall I feel there will be more of a buzz on the terraces, knowing that every fan has something to contribute and all opinions considered.

Exactly. Too many people on here are on permanent downers about certain situations. How about constructive comments like 'I can't wait for July when we have a great season' instead of 'I dont think our crowds will improve'.

 

Come on boys. I'm really excited. Crowds will be very good for our level. Results will go more our way this season and we get back to the good old days where we all enjoyed climbing the leagues.

 

Come on you Yellows! Lets get the footie started coz i cant wait for this successful season to start!
