׺°º×Scarboro' relegated Alty Stay???׺°º×

The way the Conference board have beat around the bush with this is a catasrophe, however Scarborough can't really complain about being relegated - They did finish bottom!

They'll start on -10 points next season though. Wonder if Crawley will suffer a points deduction as well? They seem set to enter Administration soon.

True. I'd just prefer it if they made a decisive decision. They docked Alty 18 points so it relegated them. Leave it at that, regardless of whether it was the right or wrong thing to do.

What?

I`ve got no problem with what the Conference have done, the rules are set at the start of the season and if clubs choose to break them then they should be punished.

Altrincham broke the rules and were docked their points - That rule will have to be looked into. Weymouth were docked four points for the same breach of rules.

Personally I think that they should've been carried over for next season. Altrincham starting on -18 points next season and Weymouth starting on -4. Until this rule is looked at having -18 for a administration error is still a bit silly.

Scarborough could not provide the Conference Board with sufficient evidence that they'll be financially stable/free from Administration next season and therefore were relegated to the Conference North and will start next season on -10 points. This does seem to be a ironic saviour for Altrincham seeing as had Scarborough's finanical evidence been sufficient, they would've stayed in the Conference with a reprieve from the Altrincham situation.

Crawley look set to enter into Administration very soon. By rights, if the League sticks to the rules then they will also start next season on -10 points albiet in the Conference.

I think it's a bit harsh that Scarborough are being punished for two seasons. They should either remain in the Conference and start on -10 points next season like Crawley seem set to do. OR take the -10 points now and be relegated to the Conference North.

But like I said before, they can't really complain seeing as they did finish bottom of the League to begin with.
