I understand that Andy 'Chopper' Hall has now left ETFC. I am sure that all of us would like to thank him for his excellent efforts for Town since we formed and wish him all the best for the future. In my mind, he has been the club's best player over the last few years. It is a very big shame nad a big mistake that we have let such a talented and loyal player leave us. I understand that Chopper is pretty gutted too.

Every good wish to Enfield Towns favorite adopted son (except when he plays against ETFC)! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

Send him along to us we'll have him. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> On a serious note I didn't rate that cousins bloke too much even if he did save that penalty <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

Well, if true, it is indeed a sad day.

However, all players move on at some stage either by jumping or being pushed.

Andy is often on this forum and I am sure that in time he will confirm the position.

Again, if true, best wishes Chops. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

Moving on.

If true and with Cousins at Colchester who will be between the sticks for Town next season ?

I believe we should have 2 keepers with one on the bench every game.

( No NOT Mr Campbell ) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

Well said OT.

Another piece of great man management by the looks of it!!

Good luck Chopper I hope your pastures new wherever they may be appreciate you as much as the Town fans do & that most importantly you enjoy your football.

And fans pay their hard earned wages to see quality players. If the time is right for Andy to leave, then the person taking over must be very good!

100% right there.

We have to except that Players move on, but if they are told they are being "replaced" then the incoming Player MUST be better.

There were plenty of rumours about a new keeper at the end of last season, so we can't really be that surprised.

It will be interesting to see who the new keeper is. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

If true, its a major shame.

Whilst writing for the Gazette I have never once criticised Chopper. I always thought Chopper to be a reliable keeper and if he was a few inches taller he would be playing at a much higher level.

I'm sure if he goes to another club he will continue to be Mr Reliable.

Jim will have to get a very good keeper to replace him. Lets hope we dont get another one like that bloke from Cheshunt.

Does anyone have any suggestions for JC,with regards to a new keeper.Which keepers have impressed whilst playing against us in the past??

LS.

I am sure we all have a few decent ideas who it could be, but I do not think this is the place to broadcast them, do you. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />
