First, i would like to say sorry to the supporters for todays game, it was totally unexceptable. The way we played was one word 'crap'. i have told the players that they must all attend the fans forum on Wednesday night. When i sign a player i expect them to have passion in their eyes and fire in their stomachs. I expect himto play the football of his life for E.F.C. As a rule i don't come on the website, but ifeelso much passion for ENFIELD. Once again i am sorry for today performance and i hope to see you all on wednesday at 7.30pm at riverside..... We the players ,feel that we have let down the fans. We all like to say that we are sorry for today performance. We have let down the supporters , the club, and most of all terry. Terry has always had faith in us, but we have let him down.. hope to all see you at the fans forum..

Guys,

Terry's comments on performance sum up 'politely' what most were thinking/saying at the game today.

Please don't turn this thread into a slanging session - just take on board what has been written - and fry them on Wednesday!!!

Im sorry about what happened today, as I have things to do at Cheshunt I dont get to games, but that does not stop me from feeling bad when the club I support goes down this bad.

I know over the past few week the side has been doing well and these thing do happen.

Lets hope the side (player) will realise what has happened and they will turn thing around

At present and over the past seasons clubs have taken the pist out of us, no ground, sheit team, all that, I know you have heard it all.

lets prove them wrong, and get back on track, forget the slagging off, it hapens to the best team ever Liverpool lost today.

Back BACK and get things on TRACK

to be fair...(with the execption of a few).the players AND terry are way out of their depth..i feel laz is throwing them to the lion's....although they ARE getting to play, and manage,at a club, that in normal curcumstances, they would not have got anywhere near....having said that,i feel we will (just) avoid relegation, this season.

You should get behine the manager and the players. the fact is it is easy to have a moan.. I know we wear crap.. But stop moaning . Be at the fans forum.. Lets see what terry has to say..

Terry Back is well out of his depth at this level and so are a lot of the players but as the saying goes pay peanuts and you get monkeys
bet LAZ is telling Terry cut the budget.

Unhappy are you going to turn up and give Terry your response to the way the team is playing or are you only going to moan on here which will achieve nothing and at least you can ask him to his face if you turn up.But i must admit i dont think mutch will come of it becouse no one will want to say mutch in front of the players.

Adam... I made this very same point on 30/09/02. I said if Terry came on the site he would open himself up to abuse, and hey presto!

Guys,

See my message at the top of this thread. Keep things civilised.

Don't do 'faceless' moans here - it's not the time/place when emotions are still running high from such a heavy defeat.

We all know who will turn up Wednesday so prove me wrong and come along. It's your chance to ask questions. You may not like the answers but hey you can't say the opportunity is not there. This has been arranged for a couple of weeks now.

The more the merrier!

I and Alan talked to Terry after the game and to be fair Terry was very pissed off and couldn't say sorry enough to the fan's that stayed after the game in the bar.
At the moment we do have some players out in defence and it show's when we had our run we had those player's in the team and without them we are a weaker team and it show's. This isnt an excuse but we do have a small squad and have to do our best with it.
After the Hendon game we have a run of games that we need to pick up some point's, we play team's around us. Hope that we have the player's back for those game's.

This is not meant as a dig. It gives me no pleasure whatever.

I was there on Saturday - my first EFC game since the split. I was shocked by what I saw. Someone has said it was the worst result for at least 10 years. From my memory it was the worst result since Runcorn (0-9) which, I think, was March/April 1989. I don't think the team has let in seven since then.

It was at least nice to see some old faces again.

On a lighter note, I think the word you are looking for is UNACCEPTABLE.

I do think you will stay up though. Even with this appalling use of our beautiful English language.

With your comments I do concur - have had 6's & 5's. I just hope history doesn't repeat itself. Was good to see some 'old faces again'. What a pitty though that some of their comments couldn't have been kept to themselves though!
