When contracts are signed we will debt free with a clean slate!!

Forget what was said by some bloke in the Pub/Echo/On here!! Nothing coming from within the club has been conflicting, that has been a consistant message!!

Where does anything official from the club say anything else??

If there is the slimmest possibility that he will still be contracted to us next season, we'll probably mostly benefit from sending him out on loan to another team for the season so they can pay the majority of his wages.

Perhaps people are getting confused with the difference between his contract and registration? We could've terminated his contract, but still hold his registration until he joins a new club - Probably the same case for Dolan actually.

Matt you can`t go terminating contracts unless the player agrees, Crawley tried that and have been forced to pay out at tribunals recently.

Oh come on Ribbit it`s obvious that Lee Boylan (under contract or not) will not be playing for us in the Ryman North next season.

What's playing for us got to do with the price of fish? He doesn't have to play to claim a wage.

And MOB, ronin is the one saying Lee's still under contract, not anyone else. I'm just saying that if we don't get rid of him, we'll have problems. Of course, it's all hypothetical as we will get rid, but there you go.

I would've thought Lee would have agreed. 'Mutual Consent' is a term too overly used

Of course Boylan would take that option it makes sense for him because he will have clubs queing to sign him, i`m more concerned about Dolan if it`s true he`s not fit enough to find another club.

I would like to think that Dolan had accepted a free transfer but would come back for pre-season training if he can't find another Club. He could sign a Ryman League registration on a new contract or non-contract terms and get paid on 'pay as you play' or monthly rolling deal.

But then again, why would he want to do that when he's got two years left on his original deal in the first place!

I have been trying to find the meeting minutes on here I think they have been deleted!!!!

The message has been clear and consistant, when contracts are signed we will have "no liabilities and will be debt free". Cant we just leave it at that!

Another clear message from Dennis is "speculation on here is not helping the club".

I would suggest you make the effort to get to the next meeting and ask the question, I have found everyone very candid in their responses.

I know most people will be there tomorrow night why not pop along and ask!!

Nothing's been deleted, but I'll check the Graveyard anyway just in case it was in a thread that got ruined.

Ribbit you don`t think Boylan is good enough to find another club at Conference level who would pay his wages then?

P.S. I never said that Boylan was still under contract it was CanveyLad0, i was looking for clarifacation.

to be fair to joe, he signed his contract on good faith without knowing this was going to happen. would you walk away from 2 years money at work unless you had something else to go to

That's why we're a bit concerned Greggs, without actually know what kind of money he's on, it'll be tough to keep up his payments.

Obviously he's good enough. If he could stay fit he could play League football.

whos liable for joes wages is it jeff until he signs the club over?

I think it would be, but I believe that those on part-time contracts don't get paid during the close season.
