We beat Eastbourne Borough 1-0 but we made it look difficult when it wasn'r really.<P>Stadhart should have had at least three, but he was way off form. A Wilkins header from a Jackson cross did the trick.

After Saturday's 9-1 record FA Cup win, Canvey won't have too much trouble with Halesowen. Saw them beat Moor Green - first visit to the ground (Moorlands) in Birmingham. Nice stadium with main stand behind the goal and an excellent playing surface.<P>Halesowen snatched a goal in each half and defended very well. But Moor Green didn't have much up front and rarely produced any real threat.<P>Canvey's pace and precision should be too much for Halesown. Predict a 3-1 result...and the Gulls to go marching on.<P>Ancient Blue
