Chelmsford & Jeff king

i felt i had to post this as i think that jeff king might of made a wrong decision of joining chelmsford in the first place i think that one of the reasons we didnt get the attendences was because we was not peforming on the pitch & he was saying about them having a larger fan base than ours well if you look at their attendences last season as for eg they only got 436 at home to briantree & only 392 at home to hampton & etc & we got more than that at least last season where as our average attendence was 806 so its better than theirs.& i believe the same will happen there at chelmsford where next season they will get 800-1000 at home & then they get to the conference dont perform well & it will drop again to how it was in the ryman prem last season.I mean do you really that JKs appointment at chelmsford was more than being their manager i mean if they had the money last season without JK they would be up by now.I hope that in a few years or later we will catch up with them, get to the conference get more fans & show JK That we can stand on our two feet alone.

A reason why Chelmsford's attendances were low at that time was because they were still playing at Billericay. Now they are back playing in Chelmsford they can expect crowds of over 1,000 but I do understand your point.

There is no reason why you cannot stand on your own and I wish you luck for the future but you have to be realistic that Chelmsfords potential attendances are much higher than Canveys due to the size of the population.

maybe in area wise but i think in football wise last season we had more than you but yes you will have more fans as ive mentioned before i think between 800-1000 & most of them will be either canvey rejects out of the island or glory hunters from chelmsford. But as ive said how long will it be unitl they drift away & you will be getting attendences like last season when you are performing bad on the pitch but anyway good luck for next season

we are now trying to rebuild our fan base after being away from Chelmsford for 10 years or so. success on the pitch will help but it is important that these new fans get in the habit of coming and then they will watch us through thick and thin.
