No disrespect, but you're having a laugh! Glen is an extremely talented keeper, and broke into our first team on numerous occasions whilst still in Secondary School!

Glen & Ricky will have a great battle for the number 1 shirt this season.

I find it a bit embarrasing that Canvey Fans are knocking players before a ball has even been kicked.

Football is about different views on players / clubs etc..

Im sure all the players will do us proud this season on and off the field..

I was just stating that in my view Glen wasn't up to much when he played for the club the season before last..

Good luck to all the new signings

Ouch, that's harsh! I suppose you didn't realise that Glen is actually registered and has been viewing this forum for the past month or so knowing his return was on the cards? (I've known since the Sponsored Walk)

Welcome back Glen and great news about the other new players, and here's hoping that there is some official confirmation about the Currans? I haven't seen Danny or Jay play nor Andrew West but I'm sure they're all up for the challenge and with their youth and talent all the players playing for us next season will give it their all! It's getting exciting!!!

So we have:

Glen Johnson and Ricky Wiseman for Goalkeepers.
Craig Davidson, Kevin Dobinson, Andrew West and Steve Corbell with Nicky Rugg and Leon Gordon up front. Plus, possibly Danny and Jay Curran...anyone I've missed?

Danny and Jay Curran have both completted all neccasary paperwork for the comming season. Contracts are still unsigned, but it is almost certin they will join. Danny, unfortunatly, is currently injured (ankle) but if things go to plan will be ready to play in September. Inside knowledge Has anyone seen the brothers play before? Anyone know anything about them?

Danny Curran was top scorer at Avely for a few seasons and then moved to chelmsford where he didn't get a chance to prove himself, but a good player...

Delighted that Jay Curran has signed. Quality player who will do well at Ryman one North level. Hope Lee Jay signs as well.

Anyone know about some of the other lads in the reserve team, Blewer, Charlie Parker, Edgar etc?

Corbell's a Left Winger, Jay & Danny are strikers, Andrew West plays at the back.
