Good to see the forum coming to life

Recommended Posts

Let's hope we can get plenty of feedback on the forum as the season approaches. I discovered the forum tonight and I now know why the Haringey website has not been updated. Good luck with your new club Cliff, are they ground sharing at Hendon this season?

Good to hear from you Robbo. I see from your website (great source of information and top website) that you have your CT and PDC draws. Did you contact Phil Rolt direct to get them?

Look forward to visiting Forde Park in the season, always a pleasure.

Hi Robbo, welcome onboard. Well impressed by your Website recently and I was actually lifting stuff off the News page prior to my unfortunate departure from Haringey, as you know I always went that extra mile but my efforts were totally unappreciated. Yes Kentish Town will soon be a force to be reckoned with and playing at Hendon this season will make us the Man Utd of Division 1, I hope we draw you away in the Challenge Trophy as I love visiting leafy Forde Park.

Welcome aboard Robbo, see from the pics on your website that the new pitch is coming along nicely. Are you building a new stand too.

Look forward to visiting you this season, always one of my favorite away trips (unlike one of your near neighbours) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Unfortunately I only have Langford's opponents that secretary Frank Woodward told me. As soon as I can get hold of the full draws they will be posted on the Langford site. I have also added a news item regarding the exsistence of this forum and hope it will get a few more people involved.

Nice one Robbo, that's typical of you, if you mention it in the News section on the Website then it is sure to get recognised as your site is highly regarded. You said you came across the Forum by accident so if you weren't aware of it then nobody would be as you're the main man. Who have you drawn in the two league Cup competitions out of interest, I can't believe nobody has got hold of the full draws as yet and they're not on the Mitoo Website as yet, the SSML are keeping all of us in suspenders.

Both away draws for Langford this season with New Bradwell St Peter in the Challenge Trophy and the Divison One Champions, Colney Heath, in the Premier Division Cup. Both games should be very competitive and I'm looking forward to visiting both clubs again after missing out in the last couple of seasons.

Sorry Robbo, just asked about the draws on another thread so thanks for that, surely we can get hold of the other ties from somewhere as I need to find out who Kentish Town have drawn due to our ground share arrangement with Hendon incase we're at home. You'll 'enjoy' visiting New Bradwell St Peter, they have the smallest away dressing room going, you can't swing a mouse let alone a cat but their Clubhouse is nice. Never been to Colney Heath myself but heard it's decent.

RobbieO - Thanks for that, what can I say, I do believe in going that extra mile and making people feel welcome but sadly Haringey have stabbed me in the back big time and I have since joined Kentish Town to help them out. I've stepped down a division but the Club has huge potential to progress and a great Youth Development Policy, something Haringey's Chairman Aki 'Sugar' Achillea didn't want to know about and wasn't interested in gaining FA Charter Standard status after I had set it all up on a plate for him. Well that's my rant for today, I'm not bitter!

Haha, of course not not!

Yeh it seemed like there wasnt many english lads at Harringay last year. Our youth policy is yet to really reap rewards, although we had a 17 year old left back who came through last year and did really well.

With you plying your trade in Div 1, will you be catching any prem matches?

I found your dundee rivalry comparison with Biggs Town must amusing!

RobbieO - No mate think I will be too busy at Kentish Town with the old admin and fundraising to catch any Premier League games, it's going to be quite an expensive season for us. I expect you're still smarting from your defeat at Coles Park last season and that goal on 6 seconds, it was an all time Club record. You got your revenge at Second Meadow though after 'we' went 2-0 up and were cruising, still don't know how 'we' lost.
