Kezie Ibe

Just posted on Confguide about Ibe.

I thought he had signed for Chelmsford? Their fans are waiting for him to come back from injury I think he may stay at Woking a bit longer after scoring a hat-trick tonight.

Good on him. Hope he stays at Woking.

Generally I felt he did ok. I don't think he complimented Lee as well as Greggors used to.

He holds the ball up very well and if he can get the space he can be effective. His controls not bad if he can create that little bit of space. Sometimes felt he didn't look interested or up for it - but that could be down to injury or a bad nights kip.

Hi

We (Woking) had Kezie Ibe on trial tonight.

Would welcome any thoughts

Good luck for the future by the way.

I never thought much of him, he had his moments, but I could not understand why Jeff mucked the front line about so much. Time will tell, but I think getting rid of Jeff was the best thing that happened to us. I wonder how many matches Jeff went to, scouting? I hope all the lads settle down in a club, but Jeff was poor, look at the way he treated Jo Dolan.
The great thing is we are not frightened of saying things on the web anymore!

how do you work that out cos winning back to back leagues, putting canvey on the map for our gaintkilling in the fa cup and taking us into rounds we have never been before and winning the fa trophy and runners up aswell tell me which bit of that is poor every manager has ups and down but how can what he done to the club changing our history be fu*king poor what a load of bullsh*t

I think you have to remember what Jeff King as a football manager, managed to do the last time he was solely in charge... Oh yes, we got relegated!

As a business man, his money and connections served us well, but I would say that the football side was more Glenn Pennyfather's achievement.

That is why I have a wry grin when see the Maercenary United suppporters talking about this "new dawn".

Tacticly Jeff has at times been naive, the quality of player he was able to finance to put on the pitch sometimes got results despite his decisions not because of them.

Even then teams with passion and desire with a little bit of tactical awareness put us under the cosh (Burnham)!!

That is why Mercenary United may not have it all their own way and we could end up playing them next year!!

Officially, Chelmsford only have five of last season's Canvey players signed on so the likes of Ibe, Hallett, Lowes, Minton etc. could still end up elsewhere.

With the money Jeff had he also bought some crap or to put it more politely players who failed to live up to their ability and reputations.
