Danny Potter

Jermain Defoe struck his fourth and fifth goal and Dimitar Berbatov his third of the pre-season programme as Stevenage were defeated 3-0 at Broadhall Way on Tuesday evening.

The scoreline could really have reached double figures were it not for an inspired display by home keeper Danny Potter, who made an incredible 15 saves - mostly via his fingertips.

Just think how many times he would have had to bend down to get that ball <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I personally always rated him higher than Richard. He always came off his line and didnt mind a dive.

Of course he also had a better butt too <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Ha, Ha - Paula, before I even opened this post I suddenly realised a reply from "Paula" on a subject about Danny Potter must have some reference to his backside! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bigshock.gif" alt="" />

Not sure I really want to get onto a subject about Potters [****!!****] but I do agree with you about him being a better keeper than McKinney

I know some people don't want to dwell on ex-Gulls but I did rate Potter quite highly and I'm pleased he was one of those that chose to play at a level for which he had the ability rather than potentially following a gravy trail.

No problem dwelling on Danny <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
