Player of the season, good to see he's captain.
Robbo and Cookie: leave Brownie. He wanted to leave. Don't bother bringing him back. All the other players stayed.

Let me rephrase that...
Corey Campbell should have been voted player of the season last season, should be voted player of the season this season, and so on and so on. Good choice for captain.
With regards to Brownie. He isn't the best centre back we've ever had. In times of crisis, and in the face of adversity, the only person to jump ship was the man who should have stayed aboard the longest. Why should we bring him back? We've already got Corey and Ryan. Cookie and Robbo. Leave him be. Let him languish in the lower throngs of the League. When we are in the Conference wait for him to plead to come back, then say no. Ask if he has spited his face despite not even bothering to touch his nose.

Think I preferred the first version Mr A, at least I understood that one!
As for Brown I was quite impressed with his footballing skill but I suspect his temperament will let him down on occasions. If he wants to come back all well and good, we could do far worse.

Interesting comments, Mr. the Saint. The first message was typed, secretly, during a sociology lesson, and therefore was short and to the point, keeping it brief. All in about 1.3658 seconds.
The second message was supposed to clear up any confusion over the first message should any confusion arise. I can see that this did not happen. Never mind. As they say, worse things happen at sea.

From looking at the Non League Paper Brown has not yet played for Bedford, is he therefore serving his ban for being sent off in the last Saints game and so time served should he be able to re-sign for City.
Has someone been a bit clever here?
Personally I'd say anyone who gets sent off as he did against Wood is not that great a signing.

I totaly agree with GHA
Campbell is a fine hoice for captain
definately in with a shout for player of the season and the most consistant player at the club
Brown left when he thought things were going to end, good! And besides, he is nowhere near the class of ryan and corey. I'd never let him back regardless of how good he is, but roberts and Cook will have him back because they think they need him. They don't. In a sunday league team he would be exiled forever, but this is proper football and you don't have to like or even respect those you play with. He'll be back, sadly.
442 442 442 442 442 442 442 442 442 442 442 442
