I really hate those generic football sites. Southend have got one and so have a whole host of clubs. The worst thing about it is the sign-in feature - just so they can send you adverts.

Good luck Wayne.

HAHA I knew you lot would pick up on that. Did i say it though ? Cant remember, never done a press conference before.

Might get you some inside information on Fakenham Town on Wednesday morning though, we're playing our ressie team there tomorrow. The first team won 7-0 against them a couple of weeks ago.

Just a big thank you while i'm on here for the send off you gave me on Saturday evening and all the gifts/cards/beer etc, meant a lot.
Woke up at midday feeling great ! unlike YELLOW (Lightweight)apparently. (match report late, tut, tut)

Thanks again, might get back to play the pool tournament if any more matches get played.

See you soon,
Wayno.

Cambridge United 0 - 1 Northwich Victoria

Maybe they should rename him Wayne Curser!!

Refreshing to see that three promoted sides won their opening fixture, all away from home as well. Weymouth scored after 9 seconds apparently, and David Theobald scored for St Albans!

Also, who would have picked problem-ridden Crawley beating the mighty Rushden 1-0!?

St Albans were very impressive in the first half against Kiddie apparently.

Great result for Altrincham over Stimmo's Stevenage and Stafford got a decent point away to Grays.
