yove all seemee to of missed out davidson, where would he be in your line up when he is match fit

He'd start for me every time but needs to get fit. Will probably be captian this year, either him, Krayling or Dobbo

I did say originally that it was my starting X1 for the Flackwell Heath game Davidson is in the same situation as Colin Wall, when he`s fit he will start every week at the moment he`s not fit to play

I hope he's on the field!!! What is it with you and players girlfriends!! Wasn't it you that mentioned one a while ago!!

I don't think it was. Though I have noticed a large amount of ladies around this year. They may have been there last season, but what with the MASSIVE crowds we were getting, they were hidden.

I'm a bit sh|t at recognising players. These are the one's I know...

Wiseman

Bourne

Corbell

Jay

Edgar

Rugg

Gordon

Johnson

And possibly Kreyling, Lamb and Roberts.

It usually takes me forever to remember who is who and who plays where, which is why I'm disappointed they'll be no names this year. Anyway, from what I've seen, well, I'd definately start all those players.

I mean, I'm not sure who plays where, but those are the players that have stood out for me.

Not sure we will get away with starting with 2 keepers

I think Westy has to start because of his pace. Both Kreyling and Wall are superb in the air and read the game well but will come unstuck against pacey forwards.

Dobbo has to start because of his experience.

Canveyboy18, to say batch would play instead of Dobbo is a personal opinion. Personally, and i think 99% of all Canvey supporters would prefer Dobbo. He's naturally a holding midfield player so i'm not sure where your arguement lies plus he's more experienced and a lot better player. I'm not putting Batch down, just telling it how it is. Dobbo will be one of the more important players this year and his experience in the middle will more often than not win us games.

i know dobbo is a great player, we have a great team and i would not like to be john when picking because we have so many players that can play anywhere and i have not seen any weak players!! everyone looks great and has their own style of play which makes it better, i cant wait for the season to start and see who starts the first game, but i do think that we need to give everyone the same chance you cant be unfair to one player when he has done just the same job as another just because who his family members are!!!! all im sayin is that when batch plays he gives edgar more freedom than what dobbo does but then when dobbo plays like last night and scores goals like that it going to be hard to get in to CM

I really cant see your point. Last night, Edgar had more freedom than he has done all pre-season, getting forward, making runs and supporting the forwards. This is because Dobbo is naturally a sitting midfielder. He's more disciplined and covers the back four. Add his goal scoring ability to that like last night and you cant leave him out. We have a young team and the likes of Dobbo, Davidson and Krayling will prove valuable teachers this year.

I can't believe Kreyling is only 24, he looks like he's been playing the game for years.

I found an old news article through Google that mentions him playing for Billericay at 17, in 1999! He also played at Braintree while Crow was there.

i know they will but basildon are a few league below, teams nearer our level will not let us pin them back like we did and if you was watching last night sometimes there was a gap between our CBs and CMs most of the time dave k filled in that gap but when he didnt all that basildon needed was a ball over the top and they could of had us on the break!! i liked the idea when john put 5 in midfield with batch staying back and both edgar and dobbo going forward when that happen we was covered all the time and everything they tried was broke up quickly!!!
