Yes, just read their match report from yesterday and McGhee played in their 1-1 draw v Bromley. Only 777 there however.

their attendance was only 777 for the opening day. only 3 teams in the Ryman prem had a higher attendance than we did. Carshalton (1797 (im guessing it was maily to do with playing Wimbledon)), Chelmsford (777) and Worthing (445)

That's not bad considering most teams in our league will probably bring more fans than Flackwell did and some of our regulars were missing for various reasons yesterday.

I had to miss yesterday's game as had a long standing arrangement (with a Sunderland supporting friend of mine) to go to Roots Hall for the Southend United v Sunderland game.

I am almost ashamed to admit this but hopefully it will be one of the very few Canvey home games I will miss all season.

Great start for Canvey and let's hope it is the beginning of something big this season.
