Paula - In all the excitement yesterday I didn't get a chance to ask you what the game was like or wasn't it anything to write home about. I just wanted to say that if anyone wants a programme from last nights game I will be more than happy to send one if they PM me their address, don't all rush at once. Just for the record these were the times of the goals from the league's newsletter:

Kentish Town 8-2 Brache Sparta

Lee Scott 10, 15 (21) Michael Lawal 35

Thomas Looney 25 Ashley Shanahan 65p

Daniel Young 30

Josh Stanford 50, 70, 85p

Chris Harvey 85og

It's a shame only 21 were there to witness it as some people told me it was the best game they had ever witnessed with two sendings off and a number of bookings although it wasn't a dirty game and I'll be giving Brache Sparta top marks for sportsmanship. The result could have easily been 14-5 or something like that.

8-2 excellent win for Kentish Town. When you say it could easilly have been 14-5 it sums upt the standard in that divison. Colney heath were the champions last season and they are a poor side.

Potters Bar Town - Thanks for your congratulations which is appreciated, it makes a change from sarcastic comments, you can't argue with an 8-2 win can you particularly against a decent outfit like Brache Sparta.

NeutralFan - How do you mean, I'm not with you, why don't you just give credit where credit is due like Potters Bar Town has done and the lovely Paula. Paula - We're playing Buckingham Athletic on Saturday, I wonder what their reaction was when the result finally filtered through last night as the match didn't finish till well after 10.00, they must be shaking in their size nines.

OK Rhodes... I'm not knocking the performance or anything as I didn't see the game, yes congratulations are in order.. well done!

My comment was based on my presumption and experience that 'decent' outfits don't get beat 8-2!!!!!

I disagree - we got beat 11 - 0 a couple of weeks ago and Canvey are the greatest lol.

ps. It was a Tottenham XI who beat us but (there reserve squad)

I did assume we were discussing in the context of two teams in the same league. Obviously we don't know if Brache had players missing etc but a 'decent' side does not lose 8-2 to side in their own division!

Remember I have also seen KTFC play so Brache ARE DEFINATELY NOT a decent side

NeutralFan - Well that's a little unfair as you're basing your opinion on the Friendly at your place the other week, we weren't at our best that evening and had players missing. Brache were at full strength last night as far as I'm aware and came off the pitch shell shocked both at half time, when they were 4-1 down, and at the end.

Well done for winning 8-2 Rhodes, whatever the circumstances its a good result but its is only one good result.

However why is it when you lose to Hertford you make excuses (we weren't at our best and had players missing) yet when Kentish Town beat a Manor trialist XI, you say what a marvellous win it is when it was obviously not anywhere near a full strength Manor side, though you seem somewhat reluctant to accept that.

Also how do you know Brache were at full strength, did the 21 people who thought it was the greatest game ever share that opinion. Also it's quite obvious they weren't at their best (Brache not the 21 people that is!) but nonetheless its a good win for you.
