If you did a straw poll all over the country, I think you might be amazed as to how much it goes on from Man Utd to Mangotsfield Utd and below..

I don't dispute that, but I can't understand how someone could try and rip off their club, regardless who they support. For me, it would be like stealing from your family. Still, I'm sure that's all in the past now.

It wasn't ripping off my own club,i couldn't afford to get in as i had no money so how was the club losing money by me being there,if i had stayed at home they wouldn't of got £2.50 out of me for the pint i bought with the £2.50 i had so answer that one smarty pants!!!

Well as one fan to another, I'm glad you are allowed to watch your team, as long as you pay to get in.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/arrr.gif" alt="" />

as i said before hornchurch were not gaining anything by me not going and not losing anything by me being there so it is a pointless arguement and if that is the best you can do to argue about this thread then it shows how silly you chappies are

For which you won't be paying anyway, unless MOB has retracted his offer? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

And yet questioning how many fans there were at a game from a couple of photos repeatedly isn't?

How does it go? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" />

Compared to Romford, Upminster, Hornchurch etc. there are probably more that would follow West Ham than in Canvey, Basildon and the rest of Castle Point, although we would hold a bulk of Southend fans.

Must be pretty frustrating for Canvey - at a time when every person through the gate is important, Saafend go and get themselves into the old old second division! (Why couldn't they leave the names as they were?)

Do you think this has affected your attendances and if so, by how much?
