A good first half and deservedly in front ,2nd half we lived on our nerves as they gave us a few probs , well done to everyone today , Townies were hospitable just some choice language going end to end which was a bit strong at times. All in all a good day out.

SoS totally agree you did deserve your first half lead, but the second half was as I expected you sat back & protected your lead with some good defending & the luck of the woodwork, a good result well done.

Dean Gilbert and Wesley were outstanding in the second half ,A good head off the line from whitts and sammy I think deflected a shot against the bar . A good win today in a competitive derby. Nice to see so many of you in the Downs, Nigel and killer won the cards games well done both on that.

Good game I thought! Have hurd a lot about the pen and in my view it totaly was, you cant pull players down in the box and expect to get away with it! 2nd goal was very well taken well done Dan. If it wasnt for Paul's 2 great saves in the 2nd half then I would give you MOM but Paul took it for me mate sorry!!! Well done to you all lad's you showed when we played football we can walk though any team in this league, but when we have to defened we can hold on to a lead.

Are you positive about that? I counted three occassions in the game on monday, when pulling players down in the box did NOT result in a penalty.

Also, glad you are confident of walking through teams in this league, especially as you have only played 4 games. And in which you have lost one,and been outplayed in the second half of the other. This is a stronger league that last season. If you can walk through teams such as Sudbury and Hornchurch away, you must be bloody good. From the look of mondays game,i would bet on a placing of around 8th for you this season, with a decent prospect of contesting the play-off places.(If you can keep your squad fit throughout the season).

I think I said "we can" walk through teams NOT "we will" walk through teams!!! We showed we can play great football and keep the ball when we need to and defened very well when needed!!! We may well go to Hornchurch and sudbury and get brushed aside but we MAY not. Most people thought Bury would be a very good side but they were very poor, nothing but a big hoofer side.

P.S Touch a nerve Did I?
