Sounds like it is time for a road trip Thanks for the info. It will be about an 8 hour trip, but we are always up for a road trip.

We have found a site online where we can order British foods, but with the cost of them, plus shipping and handling, we might as well take the trip and get them fresh as opposed to them packed in dry ice.

And ALL the American pigs are armed, as opposed to only a few of the English pigs.

I actually had someone from England ask me if cows over here moo with an American accent.

As far as the bacon, I don't think it is so much a difference between pigs as a difference in care about quality.

Good answer. I'm sure the ones over there are also more humane and less prone to brutality.

I never heard any while I was over there to be able to tell. From what my brother said last night, it has been studied, and cows in different countries do have slight differences in sound. If you would import cows from another country, it would take a few generations before the decendants would sound like the native cows.

Who in the world would think to study this stuff? Another shining example of our tax dollars at work.
