REVENGE!!!!!

It should be on the cards after our previous game up there!

Who remembers the lary Copper that threatened to arrest us all single handedly? Thought he would've known better! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Still, we were [****!!****] that day, and Lowestoft were dirty bastards. Time for a reversal of fortune I feel.

They went on to lose to Ford United in the next round who then played Preston in the first round proper. Gutting!!!

Looking forward to our visit on the 16th. Hopefully we'll bring around a hundred, I bet you've been waiting eight years for this day!

I've been reading your forum & got a bit worried when I read some of the stuff, then I read Ribbit's messages & I guess we all go a bit over the top sometimes in support of our teams. Hopefully it wil be a great day & we can make some new friends whatever the result. What's the welcome in the bar like down their, friendly enough?

Meet you in the bar then mate. Average home crowd last season was 300 although we had two crowds of over 800 which boosted the average a bit. We usually take 30 or so to the furthest games in our league & loads more for the closer ones. I reckon around a hundred for the trip to Canvey, if we can repeat the result from 1998 I'll be more than happy.

Lowestoft 4 2 Canvey in the FA Cup. Nail biting game with us getting the fourth right at the end with a breakaway after you were pressing for the equaliser.

We had over 800 for our local Derby with Kirkley (part of Lowestoft) & for our last game of the season when we needed to win to win the league (we did) against Needham Market, we beat Sudbury into 2nd place & Bury into 3rd.

We should really have been in your league except for an argument with the FA & concerns over the travel. We haven't really got going yet this season in the league but we did play a lot better to dispose of Witham on Saturday 2 0, no disrespect to Witham but I would think we would beat Witham more often than not.

Feel free to join us at www.lowestofttownfc.co.uk & sign up for our forum. It would be nice for a few of us to know some names to look out for when we get to Canvey.

You lads will be more than welcome at Canvey, and feel free to come and have a beer before/after the game. The clubhouse is quite small, though we can stand outside once the game is over.

Have a safe trip, and make sure you bring your singing voices, cos the Yellow Army are in fine voices!!
