Good performance tonight. Players looked knackered at the end. Thought Leon worked his socks off tonight and Chris Bourne had a great game at left back. Great atmosphere as well.

Chris Bourne does very well going forward but he`s got to work harder on his defending.

Reminds me a lot of Ashley Cole when he couldn't defend to save his life a couple of seasons ago, but was electric going forward. Once Chris masters his defence, he'll be invaluable to us.

I thought he was brilliant today gave us some great width, a lot of pace and top notch crosses. We need that every game.

Those who did not bother missed a good entertaining game with some excellent football at times.

How true that is MOB. Shame about the attendance but I suppose losing on Saturday, Panorma on BBC and Southend being at home all conspired to rob us of 50-60 people.

I saw some of the best football last night that I have seen in a long while. What these lads lack in experience they more than make up for in determination. Plenty of footballing skill on show and the way the ball was worked around on the floor was almost reminiscent of the 'sexy' football we used to enjoy at Park Lane. Nice to see wing-backs coming forward but sometimes there was a reluctance to run into the hole in the way the Chris Duffy used to. Still, that will all come with experience of playing at this level.

I thought the experience of Dobbo shone through in mid-field and, like we keep saying, another old head amongst those young shoulders and we could do really well.

Well done Yellow Army. The vocal and percussion support was terrific.

Shame the ressies put a damper on the evening. Second 0-8 thrashing in last 3 games!!!

Next weeks derby v Concord should be interesting!!

At least the Reserves are consistent!

To be fair, the Reserves were always going to face a tough task this season. The lads who constitute the team are all very young, and the more experienced teams are going to, and have, taken advantage of this.

However, against teams on a similar footing I think they can hold there own. There are plenty of talented players in the team, Victor Okisor & Ambrose Kamara are the ones who seem to stand out. They are both raw talents, but with a couple of seasons playing together will make them all better players, just as our current first team did when they were the reserves.

Thought last night was absolute class. Some great football and good battling.

Wiseman - World Class save first half. good kicking 8

Bourne - Speedy Gonzalez runs down the right were a joy to watch. Should concerntrate on defence more as made some silly errors. 7

Krayling - Usual no-nosense defending. Holds the back 4 together. 8

West - Getting better. A couple of sloppy passes but defensively sound. 7

Blewer - Best i've seen him play. Looked far more accomplished 8

Jay - Good when in possession but needs to get in the game more for me 7

Gordon - Got better as the game progressed. Liked the determined runs at their defence. 7

Dobinson - Dominated the midfield. Valuable player for us at the moment. 8

Roberts - Never stops running!! Great energy and never gives up 8

Curran - Never stopped running and deserved his goal. Needs to hold ball up a bit better 8

Rugg - The guy never ceases to amaze me. Must run 100 miles per game. Deserved his goal and was outstanding. 9

Man of the Match - Nicky Rugg.

doubt whether panorama had anything to do with it,the other two may be a factor but panorama nah!!!

Thats why I didn't go - so what do you know huh

Don't you have video recorders or SKY+ in Canvey?

I thought Panorama was very disappointing. I was hoping for the lid to be blown off the whole issue but it took them a year to come up with a couple of ringers and pure speculation concerning six or seven others.

In all honesty, that is a poor show, for someone to say they are a fan of a club but don't want to watch their first team play at home because of panorama is just saying you don't give a toss about the club, imo
