Redbridge 2-1 Enfield

First opening to Redbridge saw Ian Lucks header well parried by Paul Daley,A let off for Es as Ben Bradbury's 20 yarder cannoned off Paul Daley's post on 17 mins. Es Oliver Stroud was booked for a flare up with a Redbridge player . On 25 Mins Es first opportunity as Kevin Kilroy's freekick was easily dealt with by Tony Tucker. Marlon Stuart found himself booked by Mr Lodge for a leading elbow on Sam Holloway on 25 mins. Wes Borghys on for Dean Gilbert 30 mins.
Stuart then sets up Paul Oshin but he missed his kick from 12 yards out.Redbridge's Chris Tedder was booked for a foul on Owen Beale. Es went In front from the resulting freekick as Marlon Stuart's header back across the Goal and Dan Costelloe's overheadkick went back to Marlon and again he crossed for Costelloe who headed past Tucker on 39 mins.
An Embarrassing miss for Ian luck as he somehow managed to head over Carl Allisons cross from close range. Ryan Lee was then booked for chopping down Oliver stroud. Tucker saves Louis Lancaster's freekick and at the other end Luck's freekick was charged down by the Enfield wall.
The second half.
Redbridge came out all guns blazing and Es were very much backs to the wall as Ian Luck ran through only to be stopped by Wes Borghys . A shot from distance by Allison was blocked by Kevin Kilroy ,A goalmouth scramble then followed but somehow Redbridge just couldnt get the ball home, A shot by Luck wizzed across Es goalmouth He was then replaced by Mitch Hahn. On 55 mins Hahn shoots across the face of Es goal. At the other end Owen Beales cross almost caught Tucker out and almost floated in but just missed the back post.Sammy Cooper off for Charlie Bull for Redbridge. Redbridge levelled the game with a fortuous penalty as a shot from outside the box struck an outstretched Es arm and Mr Lodge pointed to the spot. Ryan Lee converted 1-1 59 mins. Another shout for a pen as Chris Sloane went tumbling down. And another let off for Es as a 30 yard drive from Charlie Bull thumped Paul Daley's post and then hit the other post and the ball stayed out.On 70 mins Sloane was put through 1 on 1 with Daley and his shot rattled Es bar and went over ,Sam Judge on for Stroud.A shot by Bull then went wide, Wayne Grant on for Ben Bradbury for Redbridge. Redbridge got the winner on 83 mins as Mitch Hahn's freekick was met by Chris Sloane's head with Daley saving but Sloane crashed it home. The last moment saw Redbridge's Ryan Lee sent off in stoppage time for Dissent .

A disappointing display today but in fairness we was lucky to lose by just one goal.

Redbridge 1 Tony Tucker 2 Carl Allison 3 Sam Holloway 4 Gareth Skerritt 5 Chris Perkins 6 Chris Tedder 7 Sam Cooper 8 Ryan Lee 9 Chris Sloane 10 Ian Luck 11 Ben Brad bury subs 12 Wayne Grant 14 Matt Haynes 15 Richard Simpson 16 Mitch Hahn 17 Charlie Bull.

Fecking quality. I remember a couple of years ago and Redbridge/Ford Utd were at home to Chelmsford and two of City's 'older fans' turned up at Lush Green. They actually watched all the first half before they realised they were watching Romford v Sawbridgeworth!!

Mind you, they have only been playing at Barkingside for about four years, so an easy mistake to make!

Feck me..the other blokes' got to be brave even admitting it. That should be saved for a drunken midweek night at an away match somewhere...at least four years down the line!
Mind you, didn't two coach loads of Worksop fans descend on Forest Green near Dorking, henceforth missing their FA Trophy tie a few years back?
You would have thought at least one of the dopey c0cks would have had some inclination that going clockwise on the M25 from Worksop, is not a true tracjectory for Nailsworth...

I once went to Croydon Amateurs ground when EFC were playing Croydon. Mind you I realised my mistake immediately and got to the correct ground before ko.

We must all agree, being north Londoners that South London is another planet and no matter where you want to go you end up at the Elephant and Bleeding Castle or Crystal Palace. I reckong it is all the railway bridges. They never went in for the tube.

This has a making of a new thread. All names removed to protect the not-so-innocent..
...In our second season back in 93, we played Concord at home, but one dipstick went to Eton Manor instead...
Two brothers turned up at Bowers v Romford 94-5. No problem with that..only that it was 24 hours early as they didn't realise that BnP play at home on a Wednesday...
And the classic I remember back in 96 at Edgware..Got a phone call from a mate asking what pub we were in. Said come out of the station and it is just on the left...40 minutes later no sign...well the rest writes itself...yep, you are right...he was at Edgware Road!!
