3-2 seems a pretty good effort from the lads even though we lost. Does anyone know who scored yet? and how did we play, i hope nutter had a good debut..

Armstrong
Attendance 425
A much improved performance lambo and it will definitely get better and better as the lads get fully match fit. You could see signs of the old pre-xmas form beginning to return. We opened the scoring, they equalised and then went ahead before half-time. They went further ahead in the second half and we pulled a goal back 7 minutes from the end. I have to say I felt that Canvey were hanging on for dear life in those final 7 minutes. Excellent performances from Wilmot, Evans, Sugrue (in the first half) and Steve Cook who came on as substitute in the second half. The new signing, John Nutter, also made a very promising debut. One question to Robbo and Cookie though - when is Craig Mackail-Smith going to be given a real chance to show what he can do in the first team?
If we play like this at Maidenhead, we have every chance of picking up all 3 points.

[ 24 February 2002: This message was edited by: Charlie Farnsbarnes ]
