The best supporters in the league!!

Yep!!!

Thats us!!

Average home gate, 451 every game away has seen their highest gate.

The noisiest supporters in the league!!!

There are only a few in it so we need to keep it up, I have no doubt that nobody can compete on noise or atmosphere although a few teams are close on numbers!!

Lets make sure we at least win that!!

Hx fans are certainly the most obsessed..................with Canvey that is. This is evident by the recent flooding of their postings on the CIFC board, the effort and noise they put into the show when a few Canvey rolled into the Bridge a couple of weeks back, (they themselves were 'chuffed' with the atmosphere) and just the general need to comment and be a part of everything that represents CIFC. But I suppose the achievements are the basis for this obsession. Off the field we are a bigger club, with better fans, much better stadium and facilities and far more publicity. On the field we've climbed to the dizzy heights that the likes of Ricay and Hx can only but dream - in the league, FA cup AND FA trophy. An apparent and simple metric used to gauge the success of clubs is based on attendances. Even in this thread Ian has suggested that Hx have a bigger average gate – but it’s not about point in time, it’s a mixture of tradition, current and future. From a future perspective we can only but speculate, but based on tradition and current (say over the last 5, 10 or 15 years) you cant begin to compare Hx attendances with that of Canvey’s. Hands up who can remember Hx with 20 fans and a bloke with a dog ? I recognise that Canvey too could be tarred with this same brush, but the growth and Canvey was a controlled effort over a decade plus.

We may be arrogant, we may live in caravans, we may just be a pub team from Essex, the success may have all been in the past, and hell, a few of our supporters even admit to supporting Spurs - but all in all CIFC are a superior club to Hx. They know it and we know it.

Long live the Yellow Army. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" />

sorry for posting on your forum but if you are going to suggest you have the best fans then don't be surprised when others come along to try and disprove that.I would hand on heart say that both clubs have had better days but hornchurch look by far the best at the moment, true we didn't get to the conference but i would suggest we are closer at the moment, but who knows

You cannot compare an AFC side with a long established side like CIFC.

So lets not even get into the discussion or before you know where you are the tone on this site we have managed to raise will be dragged down again!

The atmosphere would be fantastic at Hx if you were watching the 1500 metres!

As a football ground it makes a good boat!!

I have seen more atmosphere at a funeral!!

Personally I think our Bars are fine!!

i admit when you were in the conf id imagine 600+ or your own supporters and 300+ away fans is/would be a great atmosphere.....but now your in the ryman...i really cant see you beating the eastside for atmosphere...ask yellow or paula although if yellow disagress dont listen to him <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Ask any of our fans who went to the Burton/Stevenage/Darlo/Ttranmere/Gravesend games and the atmosphere was electric. Can't speak about the last couple of years as i have been in sunnier climes but i can imagine it is still top notch. And judging by our away support yesterday, the Urchins have the edge.

I already did, I think it is so long since you had any decent support you forget what it is like!

I recently poped over to your place, on the way home I was saying to the chap I went with how dissapointed you must all be with the lack of noise and atmosphere, only to get on here to read ESU saying it was "fantastic".

I have also been told by those who know, the council where bringing noise meters over to check noise levels effecting nearby residents!

They returned three lots to the manufacturers when they did not register anything, only to find they were working perfectly!
