nws Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 delboy if we manage to get a home cup tie it does produce revenue from bar takings etc. Its not BBB but the crowd we had for the last round was decent enough to earn some profit. Gazza we werent stuffed by Sudbury we made 7 changes from Saturday but i think Sudbury deserved their win. I was disapointed we made so many changes as I hate losing any matches.I hope it was worth it.Ignore the very small number of our fans with their anti Riccay postings as i said last week you need a bit of luck in the FA Cup. when is your league cup game or have you already played? Sorry.Local fan seems very fickle to me. part of supporting a team is following them through thick and thin and not slag off the team at every opportunity. would you as a Riccay fan miss an FA cup match if Riccay lost by fielding a weakened team a few days before the match? NWS is a typical CCFC pacifer who accepts the medeorce rather then progression <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> Local Fan i am not a CCFC pacifer etc. I like you pay my way and have been supporting the Club for 18 years(since moving to Chelmsford)and during this time I have seen mediocre.The problem is that you do not see the bigger picture and what the Club is trying to achieve.We are mid table a few points behind the play off positions and still in the FA Cup.Compare this to last season! Those of us who have been involved in fundraising inititives during the time we were at Maldon and Billericay know what an achievement it was to keep the Club going and understand how hard the Board work for our Club.You even blamed the board for letting the crowds slip after the first game at Melbourne Park. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I have previously said that our defence is under achieving but you just cant get rid of players. If you think we can break contracts etc have a chat to David Selby who will put you in the picture.Dont you think that the Club are scouting for players on an ongoing basis. i cant remember you posting last season when we had a terrible start. How would you feel if you were a member of the board and read negative comments like yours? Maybe you can help them raise more money to bring in new players by selling lots of tickets for forthcoming events etc. I have got very strong views and lots of ideas about our Club and I discuss these with members of the board and Gary Mixture etc.not continuosly on message boards having cheap shots at them and the team. Try making some positive comments about the team it will make you feel better.As for progression if you think your comments will help progress you need to think again! It is not just that they are negative it is that they are continious! The reason for my original post on here was a response by Rick quoting from our board.
