"can see him joining jeff at chelmsford"

We don't really have any vacancies for strikers - we've got Hallet, Ibe, Battersby and Holmes.

I very much doubt Boylan and King will ever be at the same club again, but as they say "it`s a funny old game"

all non league players want to come to hx paula...tis the way of these things...we are a professional club in everything but league status as any player who has played at the bridge will tell you....but as talented as mr boylan is I doubt we could afford him...

great lad and surely should be in the conference... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

Stevenage or Dagenham possibly.

I reckon that too coz he would suit Dagenham's style of play and Stevenage would want him coz Stimmo cant find any talent from looking hard. He just tries to tap up ex-players from Canvey or Grays coz he's a lazy dic*head!

I heard that Stevenage refused to meet Boylan`s wage demmands before he went to Grays so unless things have changed in either camp he won`t be going there.

If he's desperate to get out of Chavland, he might re-think things. Then again, another club with a bit of money could make an offer. Maybe Cambridge might with Wayno pulling a few strings?

Then you think wrong. We are having no problems in scoring goals.

That's irrelevant, surely. Boylan is top class and, ignoring whether Lee and Jeff could work together again, if Jeff were willing to pay his wages, he'd be a great signing for Chelmsford and don't you go thinking otherwise.

Why is he leaving Grays, anyway?

I think grays would be mad to let Boylan go especially with McLean looking like he is going in January! They will have no other strikers apart from Slabber and Oli who I think are not goalscorers.

Boylan's trouble at the minute, is when he does play, he plays in Midfield because Grays' tactics use the long ball and McLean as the lone striker.

Hi just to give you the view on things.

Unsure how Boylan was in terms of fitness wise with you guys but from what we have seen he has looked a little lacking.

Not sure if he is training full time with the team, if not would explain why he looks a little behind the rest of the lads.

In terms of ability you cant question the lad, he has hit the post and the bar a couple of times so has been unlucky.

He actually played in midfield once possible twice this season as we have struggled this season.

As for tactics our manager is a numpty who would not know a decent tactic if it came up and bit him on his [****!!****].

Have been informed by a source at the club that Lee's wages are in the region of 1200 a week
