Predictions v's Wivenhoe

It makes you wonder what has happened when players like Chenery, Duffy, Greggors, Parms etc get slated at their new Clubs, when more often than not they worked hard and gave their all for CIFC. Particularly as they were playing in leagues higher than they are currently.

I often wonder if I'm reading about the same player when I visit other teams messageboards! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Lost 3-1. Poor defensive display and all the goals we conceded were down to shoddy errors from set pieces. Attacking wise we wern't too bad. Leon took his goal well but we'll have no chance of getting anything from games if the defence carries on playing like they did tonight.

Clyde Roberts was possibly our best player tonight. Looked very dangerous on the right everytime he got the ball.

At least we have 10 days now to get training and sort our problems out.

it's going to take a lot longer than 10 days to sort our problems out, players need to gel together and stop back biting each other on the pitch, and we need to wise up fast on playing football. we need to start making tackles gettng stuck in there and be hungry for the ball, that definately wasnt the case last night, i think if we played how we did at the start of the season, we could of slotted at least 4 or 5 goals past them.

Have to agree with Yellow our defending was worse than Sunday league Football last night..

Every time a corner or freekick was delivered into our box we either didn't win the first header or Ricky tried punching the ball out rather than catching, that kept putting us back under pressure.

Im also not sure how two soft free kicks got past Ricky.. Was there a deflection?

My man of the match was Leon Gordon, i thought he worked his socks of and took his goal really well

I see your point but its up to the manager i suppose.

Last night was disappointing to say the least. Not sure what happened with the 2nd goal but looked like it went straight in. As for the 3rd, free header!! Where is the marking. I agree, pub football at the best.

Yet again, at the end it was the same faces trying and working hard with the usual few not at the races or not putting it in.

Disappointing.
