ANY NEWS ON MORE COMINGS AND GOINGS

Hillsy

Recommended Posts

I am sure some of the regular posters on this site will have some

indication on further developments on comings and goings.

We know that Ty Gooden and A.N. other is due to arrive shortly but do we know who is being given the Spanish archer.

In my opinion we could at least off load around 5-6 players and if we were not notified of there departure on this Website it could take us weeks to find out as they are never on playing or on the bench.

Come on Canv, Merv, The Great Eskape, Pabird, Vic, Matthew & Scoot. One of you must have some idea on what is happening up stairs

I do have ideas on who will be going, but no proof to back them up unfortunately... I just reckon it'll be those who haven't played a first team game for a while.

As for Gooden, I don't think he's coming till the Summer...

Pages, I saw him on Soccer AM last saturday and he did mention something about him playing for a non-league side. Cant remember where though.

A scorer of some magical goals im sure you agree.

Aside from that doesn't he caddy for a golf pro mate of his ?? anyone ..?

There is a problem in gaining the services of older ex-pro!s

They tend to fall into three groupings

1. Too many injuries and they believe the non-league scene will allow an easier ride (big error)

2. Those with a mental attitude that believe they can play (with a bit of style) in a restrictive small area of the park making smart passes to non-leagures to run for

and

3. The Tillys and Simmos who throughout their careers believed you give 100% all the time every time

There is a small residue of players who do not make it in the full time game and are released at 19-22 years of age with maybe 50% of them finding their level in non-league

I trust we react to possible signings in the manner of Shankly and Nicholson IE attitude is a skill we consider first before all other skills
