Aaron Mclean

From the Grays website

Grays Athletic have released Aaron McLean to Peterborough on loan until December 31st with the option of a permanent deal in the New Year, we would like to thank Aaron and wish him well for the future.

As part of the deal Justin Richards has signed a one months loan with Grays Athletic with options, also Chris Plummer‘s loan contract is to be rewied with a view to extending this.

Must admit i was never that impressed when he played against us but he has done a good job at Grays, maybe Boylan will get a starting place at Grays now, Boylan and Richards would seem a good partnership to me.

I know Aldershot fans generally didn't rate him either - lots of talent but couldn't hit the target.

I have also heard that Lee was being played in more of a holding position at Grays rather than the position he held at Canvey where he used to put a lot of defenders under pressure in the final third as an out and out striker. Hopefully the change of management will also help him out with his game.

'Inside' info on their forum is that he'll go for a six-figure fee in January though. Must be definately worth that kind of cash!

Boylan did score in the Trophy game last weekend, albiet a tap in apparently. Did anyone see his comments in the NLP? States that being played out of position has totally blown his confidence.

They don't rate Oli that much over there and apparently Slabber still wants out, so with McLean gone it looks like Boylan is going to get his chance to shine again alongside Richards. - especially now with a change of Management.

I see Mr Woodward is taking the reins for now assisted by Jamie Stuart. Wonder how long it'll take for him to make a permenant appointment? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> Also I note that ex-Chelsea and Dagenham striker Mark Stein is their new physio.
