Webbo's strop!!!

Recommended Posts

there was a very intresting thread about gary ansell on here, people exclaiming thier dissapointment on his booing on Saturday, some people mentioning what Gary said to them regards the incident, and the response from the people who heard him, along the lines of if he was misheard or it was taken out of context then we would forgive him.
A very important thing I think regarding one of our best players who has been critised and would like to have a conculsion before tuesday's game.
I make a tounge in cheek remark about webbo and he deleates the whole thread, which was an important subject!
Lighten up webbo, if we can put up with you calling us MFI and so forth then take a little light banter, if we didn't appeciate you we wouldn't use the tool that you provide.
For the record - We booed Gary ansell because of something he said at Canvey regarding us supporters being *********, he heas since said he was with a group of mates and called all supporters both city and canvey into the bar as it was so cold outside. he may of been misinterpteted, if this is the case we at EFM are prepared to forgive him but would like his version of events.

We (EFM) attend 99% of games and consider ourselves true supporters, we appreciate all the togetherness during the suspension which is why we were so annoyed at the alledged comment. We also would like to see Gary get fit and be top leauge goalscorer as I'm sure he will be if we get a season out of him.
It would be nice to hear from gary, and lighten up webbo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Combine the worst excesses of the censorship and propaganda of Stalin, Goebbels and Mugabe and what have you got? Webbo that's what.
He sells the site to Canvey Island F.C. for £3.5 million and he still abuses executive power. I shall have a word with Jeff King.
I bet this message will only last a couple of nano-seconds. The site's probably digitally programmed to erase anything that Webbo might not like. It's an HLMT thing.
Oi Webbo. Would you mind publishing a list of topics that we are allowed to discuss, together with the views that we are permitted to express? Just to be clear. Wouldn't want to cause any discomfort or embarrassment.
I think that I'm going to throw up.

I think what Webbo and probably the rest of the people inside Clarence Park objected to was the obscene chanting that greeted him the minute he came on the pitch.
Considering what he did or didn't say is open to debate, condemning someone on the basis of hearsay evidence by some anonymous person on a message board is beyond belief.
As for all the other stuff, just remember that this is a public message board read by other non-league clubs' supporters and stop and think what impression this gives them of the club. I'll leave you to think about that one...

Word from this end, Mr Eagle, is that Brown was rumoured to have been targetted to come back here after the end of the season. At this precise moment in time, we're still waiting to see if our new benign and all-seeing leader is going to stump up some cash for summer spending spree (currently looking unlikely). I know it's a bit late in the day, but is there any chance we could borrow him for tonight? (Though he might have to play in goal).
Apologies, by the way, for the low standard of messaging on this board of late. As you well know, we didn't have much football for a few weeks round here, and I think some people are still re-adjusting to it. We can't really talk much about team selection at the moment, because we're playing every player we've got right now and, in any case, I still haven't seen an entertaining match since we had our lucky escape. FYI - on the pitch, you could sum it all up with the following:
1. Having a few problems in front of goal.
2. Still looking ring-rusty after the enforced vacation.
3. Only have about 12 and a half fit players.
4. Encouraged by last Saturday - injuries and bad luck ensuring a 3-0 reversal against possible league champions which we really didn't deserve (and the Gravesend fans we spoke to after the match admitted as much).
One win could be all they need to kick-start the season. Glad to clarify a few issues for you. Myself, I try to ignore the internal politics as well.
