Redbridge

Just looked at the table and fixtures.

Three difficult and important games coming up including Redbridge tonight if we want to enter the play off places.

Redbridge at home who are directly below us in the table and who we know will give us a close game. (no penalties tonight please Dobbo )

This is followed by Enfield Town who are in a play off place with a couple of games in hand and will bring a few fans down to the Lane.

And then we play the current leaders away at their new home, Harlow.

IMHO, if we can keep the hard work going at the back then we have every chance of getting something from these games. Although everytime I have thoughts like that it goes tits up on the pitch - hopefully our run will continue tonight.....

A win would be nice but would be good to just keep the unbeaten run of results going.

The job was done and dusted and we looked really comfortable and in control apart from a very dodgey last ten minutes.

Not sure I agree with taking off Rugg and subbing for a midfielder - it runs a few minutes off the clock but allowed Redbridge to continue to push us back into our own half. Whenever we cleared it, it came straight back as there was only Curran up front.

Gutted we lost our record of clean sheets as well tonight , but hey ho, 3 more points is fantastic.

We looked a bit nervous in the last 15 minutes and started hoofing it aimlessly or miscontrolling the ball. We got away with it but damn it was close.

Great finish by Lee Jay for the first goal and Ruggy deserved his goal. Has worked so hard this season and has not got what his efforts have deserved.

Thought Crow was excellent tonight. Great shot that hit the post and influential in the 2nd goal.

Only setback was the last 20 minutes or so which seemed a bit of a reoccurrance of the bad old times from 6 weeks ago or so. Rode our luck for once but at least Dobbo and Kreyling stood up to the test.

As a side note, you may think 222 is a poor crowd for a Tuesday night. Well Billericay only got 200 for their match with Harrow

Roll on Saturday.

Thought we plaed some realy good football first half. Quick 1-2's through balls and the passing game not loads of this long ball stuff. Second half thought we played poorly compared to the first and we sat back a bit to much.

Any way roll on saturday for what will surely be a tough game!!

I think credit has got to go to our defenders/keeper over the past half dozen odd games.

Dobbo at the back has added that little bit of experience that we lacked. With Crow, Kreyling and Bourne it looks extremely strong now.

IMHO they have really turned it around allowing us to grab results where previously we would have thrown points away with silly errors.

Agree. Think Bourney has really improved as a defender in recent weeks and nobody can fault Ricky's handling in recent weeks.

Dobbo and Dave Kreyling have been immense recently and thought Crow had his best game since he has returned to the club last night.
