The game between Hendon and St Albans City on Easter Monday (1st April) has been postponed as Hendon are now playing in the Middlesex Senior Cup Final against Northwood at Hayes on that day.

I'm presuming that this is someones idea of a April Fools Joke (see date)
Easter Monday is one of the top days in the footballing calender and how on earth anyone can think that the middlesex senior cup is worthy of depriving SACFC of a easter fixture is beyond belief!

To be fair, other County FA's have arranged their finals to be played after the season has ended so perhaps we should be blaming the Middx FA for this farce.

come to think of it, the Hendon pitch won't be playable anyhow...

You'll get a pleasant surprise hopefully when we do play the game. Our pitch is no worse than any other in the league, as long as it is rolled before the game.<p>Prior to our semi-final on Tuesday, the pitch looked had never looked so good at this stage of the season, and played really well.
