they usualy run over the christmas period they just arent this year. as far as time off over christmas goes, if you want time off then get a job that gives it. i used to manage pubs which ment christmas eve, christmas day, boxing day, cnew years eve and new years day were all work days, but that comes with the job. it is now why i work in television, you get sh!t loads of time off

i know what your saying, but just think, if everyone wanted to go to footie, there would be nowhere to buy you food, no public transport at all, no service stations open, no coach drivers, wonderful! we have all buggered off to work in TV land. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
seriously though, surely nobody can resent people having a couple of days off? for myself i have shifts that fit in with football. i am lucky!
mind, i had a similar discussion last year. and was shouted down. so wont be surprised if i get the same now.
