they usualy run over the christmas period they just arent this year. as far as time off over christmas goes, if you want time off then get a job that gives it. i used to manage pubs which ment christmas eve, christmas day, boxing day, cnew years eve and new years day were all work days, but that comes with the job. it is now why i work in television, you get sh!t loads of time off

Great idea. lets all do it!
i know what your saying, but just think, if everyone wanted to go to footie, there would be nowhere to buy you food, no public transport at all, no service stations open, no coach drivers, wonderful! we have all buggered off to work in TV land.
seriously though, surely nobody can resent people having a couple of days off? for myself i have shifts that fit in with football. i am lucky!
mind, i had a similar discussion last year. and was shouted down. so wont be surprised if i get the same now.
Anyway, in advance MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone

maybe all i am trying to say is if there are events happening then public transport should be working.I wouldn't particularly like to work over xmas but the FA seem to think its fine for games to go ahead and for clubs to lose money because some fans can't get to them,as usual it will be the smaller clubs that lose money, although some, like canvey will prosper froma localish derby!!

I'm sure you wouldn't want to work over Christmas. Most people don't even want to travel.

how can you expect tradition without realising there will be no swansea fans at notts county!!!
we want trains!!

We are all questioning transport for Boxing Day but if your expecting tradition you may find that the game is called off due to inclement weather.

You'll really have something to bitch about after struggling to make your way to Canvey via train, plane or automobile only to find the ref has called it off and hour or so before hand! Dagenham a few seasons ago springs to mind........but at least we are at home.

Changing the subject but answering a previous question, the game is going to be segregated and both bars will be open from 11.00.

really...?

so no cover for the urchins then....that should reduce the urchin attendence by at least a 100 if not more....conference BBB still reigns supreme eh...well done....
