Got to be a doubt about this game going ahead tomorrow, their home game against Concord on Saturday was touch and go and from reading their website they have already made other plans should the game not go ahead.

The Essex Senior Cup tie with Canvey Island has been rearranged for next Tuesday 12th December, kick off 7.45pm, at the Brentwood Centre.
Assuming the Canvey cup match goes ahead then the fixture originally scheduled for Tuesday night, away to Tilbury in the Eastern Floodlight League, will be postponed. However, with Saturday's league cup quarter final at home to Concord Rangers already in doubt after more heavy rain today, the Tilbury fixture may still take place if the county cup tie cannot be played.

Can't they switch the tie to Park Lane if they are having trouble?

Surely it won't be that hard to organise as they are only about half an hours drive from Canvey.

Didn't we do that with a friendly not long ago. I think it was Great Wakering but i might be mistaken.

The club offered to play it at Park Lane last week but Brentwood turned it down.

If they cancel it this time we should 'lean' on them to make the switch.

In the programme it says "We offered to play it at Park Lane but that was not taken up" so i took it that Brentwood turned us down, apologies to Brentwood if this wasn`t the case.

Reckon we may have to wait until the New Year to play this game. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Was half tempted to go and watch the Urchins but could do with saving the pennies at the mo.

to be honest, this is the second time the have cancelled, if they dont play a third time, then the game should be forfieted with us being the winners and going through to the next round

I think it should be switched. I am sure the brentwood boys wont mind giving up home advantage to try and perform a massive cup upset
