Luckily a replacement coach was found and we resumed our journey but some hardy souls still seem to fancy their luck!!!

Only had to wait 30 minutes. Broke down on the A127 near Brentwood. Had a bad feeling when the coach started making funny noises going off Canvey.

Then going down the A127 it was "what's that burning smell?" 30 seconds later we're pulling into a layby!!!

How about breaking down on the way back from Yeovil after an evening game. That's what happend to us when we went there with Enfield FC many moons ago. We had to squeeze on to the second coach and finally got to the Services at about 1.30am The players Coach did pick some of the younger females and took them back to Southbury Road but us lesser mortals had to wait for the replacemnet coach to arrive. I seem to recall we did not get back to Southbury Road till about 4.30am - 5.00am. Lots of very tired people that day!!!!

Happy days though!!!!!
