Ilford have a new manager & a few new players. Paul Daley has left and signed for Redbridge. Should be a good game, hope the boys come out firing on all cylinders. See you all at the game.

Still is Stuart Margolis as far as I know . I think they have some new people there . Its a bit difficult getting info about them as their website appears to have been removed by administrators for non payment ,There is another website that stops up to the point when Alan Fenn left them for Redbridge .(It has SLD1E info from last season skull) Paul Daley ? only left us last week ? Enfield Horn I believe he's at Ilford mate.

Paul Daley is Now at Redbridge ! after just one week at Ilford ,The major change in personel may have forced him to leave so quickly. 3-1 to us today should have been six or seven but 3 points just the same.

Enfield 3-1 Ilford

No major openings in the first few mins but on 10 mins Enfield went ahead ,Owen Beale's corner was headed back across goal by Dean Gilbert and Marlon Stuart was on hand to head in a simple chance 1-0 E's But straight from the re-start Ilford equalised a long ball forward found Chris Stevens who from just inside the E's box hooked a shot over Dan Anfossy's head into the top corner 1-1 with 11 mins gone. Owen Beale's corner on 14 mins was met by Jon Stevenson but Ilford custodian Blessing Kwanbana made a fine save. Another Owen Beale corner and Stevenson again got a header in ,but this one flew just over the bar. Good work from Elvis Balic & Owen Beale set up Jon Stevenson but a good block Olugbenga Ladega kept it out.An Owen Beale shot was headed clear on 21 mins and this was followed by Paul Oshin's shot which went narrowly wide. Another Owen Beale cross and Jon Stevenson's header was well saved again by Blessing Kwanbana .Another Owen Beale corner and Paul Oshin was blatantly shoved from behind but Mr Linden waved away E's protests A chance for Ilford as Roy Jones let fly but was well off target and on 34 mins E's regained the lead Owen Beale's freekick was missed by Wes Borghys but not by the unfortunate Carl Bailey who could do little to do other than put through his own goal 2-1 E's. Danny Alleyne was booked for dissent after a handball (It was to be significant later) John Hind & Jon Stevenson had shots blocked in quick succession .And from another Owen Beale corner Paul Oshin was again shoved off the ball and again Mr Linden waved play on. H/T

2nd half (Ilford sub Ricky Simmons on for Carl Bailey) A shot by Chris Stevens was scuffed straight at Dan Anfossy and On 50 mins E's made the game safe as Owen Beale's corner caused a scramble on the goalline and Paul Oshin eventually bundled the ball home 3-1 E's. Owen Beale's freekick went inches wide And a chance for Ilford as Glen Harvey thumped a freekick into E's wall. Wes Borghys saw his shot saved by Blessing Kwanbana .Dean Gilbert headed wide from Owen Beale's corner .And Danny Alleyne lunged at Paul Oshin and was sent off for a 2nd yellow on 62 mins.(Ilford sub Isaac Alibi on for Rob McHale) Marlon Stuart turns a shot wide of Ilfords goal (Ilford sub Stuart Houghton on for Getro Kilapi ) A Shot by Ilfords Roy Jones was well held by Dan Anfossy (E's sub Sherwin Stanley on for James Hazell 71mins) Another Owen Beale corner was met by Dean Gilbert but he was again just over the bar. Elvis Balic's freekick found Sherwin Stanley but he just failed to connect .A good save by Dan Anfossy from Roy Jones (E's sub Martin Young on for John Hind ) Paul Oshin blazes one wide on 82 mins. And a shot from 25 yards by Olugbenga Ladega went narrowly wide of E's goal. A good interception by Mark Whittington prevented Stuart Houghton from getting in on E's goal. Marlon Stuart puts one wide at the other end .Jon Stevenson limped off with cramp and Sammy Judge replaced him in stoppage time .

Enfield 1 Dan Anfossy 2 Mark Whittington 3 Wesley Borghys 4 Paul Oshin 5 Dean Gilbert 6 Elvis Balic 7 James Hazell 8 Jon Stevenson 9 Marlon Stuart 10 John Hind 11 Owen Beale subs 12 Martin Young 14 Sherwin Stanley 15 Louis Lancaster 16 Sammy Judge 17 Richard Wray.

Ilford 1 Blessing Kwanbana 2 Olugbenga Ladega 3 Danny Vincent 4 Glen Harvey 5 Carl Bailey 6 Abul Hussain 7 Danny Alleyne 8 Getro Kilapi 9 Roy Jones 10 Chris Stevens 11 Rob McHale subs 12 Stuart Houghton 14 Isaac Alibi 15 Chas Murray 16 Ricky Simmons 17 Charlie Hasler.
