Three Canvey players have made the revised feeder-league only England semi-pro (National Game) squad. They are Steve Ward, Chris Duffy and Jeff Minton. Full details can be seen on our site by following this link:

What happened to John Kennedy? It says in the statement that Jeff Minton will be joined by three Canvey team-mates yet only two others are listed!!

...and who says Computer games aren't realistic?! Anyone who has played Champioship Manager, would've known Lee Boylan played for Ireland!!!

According to an old West Ham handbook Lee Boylan was capped by the Republic of Ireland at youth and under 21 level so he's probably played alongside Damien Duff and Robbie Keane. He was born in Witham, Essex so he must qualify for Ireland through parents or grandparents.

Yeah Matt anybody who's played Champ Manager will know that Boylan is Irish and like real life he's banging the goals in for me at the moment on C.M.

P.S Blimey, there's a picture in this handbook of Bertie Brayley and he looks well different. He's got a lot more hair and it looks ginger!!

Maybe JK is replacing Craig McAllister - he was out with a hamstring problem last Tuesday night.

Actually, I believe that Lee Boylan qualifies for Ireland on the basis that his second cousin once knew a man who drank Guinness.
