Good luck on Saturday EFC. Your friends at Enfield Town need you to 'Do us a favour' by beating Harlow. It's too late for Town to catch AFC Hornchurch but with your help we may get the runners-up spot.

We'll do our best , Sometimes I'm surprised when the boys play so well ,Othertimes I'm surprised how bad they've played , You just never know which Enfield will show up.

Enfield 1-0 Harlow

Harlow were straight out of the blocks with Kelvin Warren's freekick met by Beckett Hollenbach and this was well saved by Richard Wray . A chance for Dean Williams but he put his header well over E's crossbar .Dean Williams again was put clear but Dean Gilbert made a timely tackle to deny him his chance.A dipping cross by Leon Lalite but Wray did very well to claim the ball. Owen Beale was injured defending a cross by Kelvin Warren and was off the field with a bloodied nose for several minutes. Another chance for Harlow as Williams took the ball past Wray but he overhit his control and the ball ran out of play . Harlow were denied a penalty as a shot appeared to strike an E's arm but the Referee Mr Rock decided it was accidental. Owen Beale fired a freekick well over Harlow's bar .Oliver Stroud was feeling the brunt of several late challenges and Referee Mr Rock appeared reluctant to take action ? A good head back to Wray by Wes Borghys while under pressure from two Harlow forwards . H/T

2nd half
A slip by Mark Whittington let in Dean Williams but Dean Gilbert was quick to block out the danger and robbed him of the ball . On 52 mins the deadlock was broken as Dave Bound was fouled about 20 yards out as he tried to get Paul Oshin away. Instead of Owen Beale taking the freekick Wes Borghys stepped up and bent his shot round Harlow's wall and into Jamie Hasell's bottom corner 1-0 E's . Harlow's responce was immediate As Kelvin Warren put wide from a cross. (Harlow sub Sammy Winston off for Ex E James Bunn ) Another fine stop by Richard Wray denies Leon Lalite . Yet another late foul on Oliver Stroud by Lalite saw the two of them square up but they were quickly separated and ollie was booked for his reaction.(Harlow sub Marc Salmon on for Kelvin Warren)A shot from distance by Gary Wraight bounced unevenly off a divot and Richard Wray somehow managed to knock the ball out for a corner.
A good block by Oliver Stroud as Danny Chapman found space to tee up.(Harlow sub Kenny Davis on for Ross Parmenter) On 74 mins a very harsh penalty was awarded to Harlow as Wes Borghys was adjudged to have tripped James Bunn ,Wes was booked and there was some debate if the offence was in or out of the box. Bunn himself took it but Richard Wray made a brilliant full length save to his left and held on to the ball as well. Owen Beale's corner was met by Wes Borghys but his shot was deflected over the top. Wray again saves this time from Bunn. A swirling cross from Clark Akers was kept out by Wray the ball fell to Lalite but Wray again made a good save to deny him.(E's sub John Hind on for Dave Bound 89mins) Last chance of the game fell to Owen Beale but James Hasell was off his line to save at his feet. Att 180
