what on earth is the point of putting him in the ring against a fighter who is retired, ran for two and a half rounds and never threw a meaningful punch in the fight?

So they all say he is a potential world champion, but what is he going to learn from 12 fights against cr*p opposition, other than Frank Warren knows how to make money? boxing

i completely agree there is no doubt that amir is a good boxer and they did the right thing in letting him the first few fights but then they should have given his a realy difficult opponent meaning he would have to show how well he can box or even if he lost it would show he is beatable. Personally i think that he is a very good boxer but he should be given thougher fights that mean they will be close and fights where he acctually gets hit.

Boxing is fixed !

It's as fixed as WWF wrestling is, and has been for years now !!

FIXED Big JR!! How could you make such an allegation? wink

Of course they don't fix fights any more, that would be illegal.

(They just very, very carefully, select opponents).
