No it is not! The measure is objectively an empty trophy cabinet! We attract some of the best footballers around our area and we the fans expect results.

Some of the performances this season have been poor. Did you go to Ruislip Manor? A mediocre team with a good striker! Oh we lost! Ilford! A mediocre team with a good striker. Now there is a pattern developing here I wonder what it is?

If the other clubs were not so even this season we would have finished upper mid table with the number of defeats we have had.

"If the other clubs were not so even this season we would have finished upper mid table with the number of defeats we have had".

But they were even and we were even better so we didn't finish mid table but 3rd and after the early season form I think that is a fair show.

BTW If ifs and ands were pots and pans there would be no need for tinkers.

Not bad for a village team though, with good crowds & progressing nicely.

Although we are all dissapointed I feel that finishing third in both our two step 4 campaigns is pretty good going. Sure, performances may have been eratic this season but to be consistently pushing for promotion is surely a good thing. What do fans want? Finishing up there and narrowly missing out on promotion or a mid table finish and the Middlesex Charity Cup? What has to be looked at is how to improve on where we are now.

How about finishing up there, gaining promotion and winning cups?

Not too much to ask for, is it?
